CHAPTER 110: Used It At A Wrong Time

Seeing as they are far enough, Saphira raised the sword.

"Barier... Slash..."

She slashed it in a downwards manner towards the earth.

The earth split in two and fire erupted from it separating Raynish from the rest.

"Burst..." she added.

As she did, the fire barier caused an explosion towards Raynisha's side.

She was caught up due to its suddenness and strength.

And injuries were inflicted making her furrow her brows.

"Saphira!!" Hunter extended his hand and Saphira raised hers.

They flew away from that scene towards another side of the island.

"This is far enough," Saphira told him before Qirin landed.

She jumped off.

"Saphira..."

Just as she turned, she was met with Drake's fist causing her to fall on the ground.

She gritted her teeth.

She is almost out of energy, to receive such a strong punch, her lip obviously bled.

"Drake!!!" Ridge shouted.

Saphira raised her hand.

She wiped the blood before standing up, she wasn't only raising her hand towards Ridge but towards Hunter who was ready to attack Drake as well.

"Why? Why did you let her go away?" he asked angrily.

"Gosh, you really are running on your emotions, do you think you could defeat her? Don't be stupid, all of you," she called.

No matter how shaken they were they should have seen that immense power she was hiding while she was battling Saphira alone.

Saphira saw it when the other six appeared.

"If I didn't have Hunter pull you away, you would be dead by now. Get a grip and realize just how weak you currently are against her."

She stopped looking at them and closed her eyes.

She can feel darkness all over the place but she knew Raynish'a presence, that is what she needed to confirm.

After three minutes, she opened her eyes, 'She's gone.'

When she turned to them again her eyes went wide.

"Where's Drake?"

"He left angrily because he knew he was the one in the wrong," Nixon replied.

Instead, Saphira didn't know whether to burst or not.

"AM I SUPPOSED TO LOOK AFTER YOU EVERY SINGLE TIME. EACH AND EVERYONE OF YOU WHAT ARE YOU THINKING?!?! DO YOU KNOW THIS PLACE?!? HAVE YOU REALIZED WHAT HAVE HAPPENED ON THIS PLACE!!!"

She thought she could rest from all these frustrations but alas, they just reunited and here they go again.

"Hunter!!!" she gritted her teeth and looked at him.

She knew he left Drake on his own.

She knew he knows that this place is already a problem one.

Hunter just looked away from her.

"No matter how angry we are, this is not right," she berated him before rushing.

She can feel the immense amount of dark energy gathering in one place.

Which means there is a place that demonic beasts are gathering.

Hunter clenched his hands into fists then he felt it as well, the dark energy.

He clicked his tongue and rushed up about two minutes later than Saphira.

The others could only follow because everything was just being too chaotic.

Without proper explanation, things are being thrown at them one after another.

On the other hand, Saphira had thought she could keep this until further confirmation.

She indeed received the confirmation but then they just have to know of Raynisha's existence on the same day that Saphira confirmed her thoughts.

How will she explain it then?

Even she has no explanation to this.

It was simply she was having doubts over the bodies that she came.

She didn't expect that her doubts would actually come true.

But that is far from her mind as of the moment for more and more demonic beasts are gathering in one place not far from them.

While Drake was cursing at himself.

He left angrily because he can understand why Saphira had pulled them back.

Still he felt angered at the fact that Raynisha was actually alive.

They said Saphira had killed her but why was she standing in front of them?

He knew if he was just patient then they could have sat down and discuss this properly.

But his anger just reached its peak, his hatred erupted.

How can he stay calm?

That was the murderer, their enemy.

She was looking fine and even stronger, how can he stay calm?

And by the time he realized it, he was already surrounded by so many demonic beasts.

Ranging in size and type.

'White Tiger,' he called.

'I had been calling for your attention for a while now but you won't budge, I couldn't come out because you have restricted me for not following you a while ago,' White Tiger replied.

Between a host and a beast, there is something called restriction.

A way for the host to stop the beast from getting involved or disturbing them.

It was a simple thing but Drake used it at a wrong time.

Because White Tiger chose not to listen to him when he was being pulled back, Drake used restriction on him thinking that he didn't want to hear anything from him.

Yet it actually caused the opposite effect instead.

Now he has to face so many demonic beasts when he had used most of his mana while dealing with Raynisha a while ago.

That on itself was already proof enough that Saphira was right, if she didn't pull them back, they would have died already.

"We just need to create an opening in order to regroup with the others," White Tiger spoke as he came out of Drake.

Because he had to follow Drake a while ago, even he had lost quite a lot of mana.

Drake pulled out his sword, the family heirloom.

While Saphira had a red one, Drake had a silver one.

The others' have the color of their sword hilt in correspondence to the color of their ability.

The same way as the color of their hair and eyes.

He could only prepare himself for this battle, he was the one who brought it upon himself that he could only blame his own emotions and thoughts.

Just then...

*SCREEECH*
