CHAPTER 120: Three Months After The Incident

Upon getting on an open area, Ardel who was walking at the fore front stopped.

"What's wrong?" Raynisha asked.

It was so sudden but she felt it, the aura around the place suddenly became different.

"I don't think this is a good place. Let's hide for now," she said before looking back.

All six children were beside one another and behind them were the other three members of the elite squad.

"Where's Saphira?" she asked worriedly.

That's when everyone noticed that once again, she had disappeared.

Even the six of them were starting to feel the air surrounding them have changed drasatically, especially when Raynisha turned to face them.

Their mythological beasts were all asleep as of the moment.

They were made to sleep because this training was all about the physical strength of the hosts.

This is so that they can think of it as their lives were on the line and no one would save them if they were to make mistakes.

As the six of them were looking around, a sudden explosion came from in front where Raynisha and Ardel were.

The rest were thrown back a bit.

"Brother!!" Drake called.

"Sister!!"

They called for the two but the dark aura was too strong.

No matter how much they try to use their power, it was to no avail.

Even wind was not doing anything.

"Ugh."

They heard someone groaning in pain behind them and when they turned, they witnessed something horrible.

Samuel and Chester were down with blood flowing from their throats.

Flora was holding hers and the one behind her was Raynisha.

Raynisha's body were exuding with darkness and her red eyes started turning darker and darker.

"What is..."

Five of them shouted and cried.

They rushed to the bodies of the three members of the elite squad and started crying.

Drake was still staring at Raynisha and when she moved, he followed her.

By the time, he realized what she was doing, her sword had already stabbed Ardel in the stomach.

"NOOOO!!!!!"

He tried to rush forward but another explosion came about.

This pushed them back and they felt their whole body in tremendous pain.

Slowly each of them lost consciousness.

Hunter who was trying to know where Saphira was the last to fall unconscious and before he did, he felt something warm enveloping his body.

By the time they all woke up, they found out that they were found in the water by those who were waiting for them outside the island.

The whole island was then surrounded by miasma.

"IT WAS RAYNISHA!!! SHE KILLED ALL OF THEM AND HER WHOLE BODY WAS EXUDING WITH DARKNESS!!! SHE KILLED MY BROTHER!!! SHE KILLED THEM!!!"

Drake was the one shouting.

The heads were shocked and when they looked at the others, no one denied his words.

Which means this was the truth.

And his words were heard by the knights and servants that the news spread so fast, no one was able to stop it.

At this time, Saphira was still unconscious having severe injuries and remained in a coma.

Drake was also pointing that Saphira disappeared before everything started and that she must have known of it.

No one denied it again.

While Hunter remained silent.

But when Reginald asked him.

"I have no idea what had happened father. I have witnessed it as well but as for Saphira, I don't think someone as injured as her, much more injured than we are. Would know of what will happen and left to be safely away once it started."

Three months after the incident, Saphira finally woke up.

"Saphira, are you okay? How do you feel?" Carmilla asked worriedly.

Archie and Asherton were also looking at her filled with worry.

Saphira sat up and tear suddenly rushed out her eyes.

"It's fine, it's fine Saphira, we are here," Carmilla hugged her.

But Saphira kept crying and crying without saying anything.

Hunter watched this scene on the side while his hands were clenched into fists.

After another day, Drake went to Saphira's hospital room and started blaming her for everything.

He kept shouting and shouting while Saphira just looked at him.

She didn't utter a word until Drake was pulled out by his parents away from her.

On the other hand, Hunter stayed beside her every single day without asking or saying anything.

The other four didn't visit her either.

But a more pressing matter came about.

The island was affecting the water around it and Reginald knew, the children may still be suffering but they needed to prepare themselves.

"We are sending them on the different kingdoms within the Empire. To allow them to train more and with different environment," he informed the heads.

They understood his decision, even if they were to train in this place.

This place were filled with people who gossips of the incident.

They won't be able to live normally and train normally any longer.

"We understand, we shall inform them," they answered.

"Saphira, two more months, you will be sent to Vermin Kingdom. There you will have to train. I know this is too harsh for all of you but after what happened, the surrounding area were being affected by the miasma. It meant that darkness is rising," Asherton said to Saphira.

"It is fine grandfather. I understand the situation, we really need to train."

Her eyes that lost its light started having them again, she was recovering.

But until this very moment, she have not spoken anything about everything that Drake and the others have said.

No one knows why she was so injured when they didn't see her during that time.

"Saphira..." Asherton called for her.

"Grandfather, I will be fine. I assure you that, so don't worry."

She even smiled him and Asherton was even more guilt stricken for what had happened to their family.

"Everything will be alright grandfather, as long as we stand strong and remain as family. Everything will be alright."

Those were her last words to her grandfather before they were called to the palace and into the teleportation room.

Saphira was the last one to be sent away.

"Your majesty..."
