CHAPTER 159: That Is What She Meant

Two days and Nixon and the other two remained doing the same.

Tired by the end of the day and was driven to the bones during the day.

Zian was becoming more and more angry because they were acting as if this was what the six of them should keep on doing because this is their mission.

Felix was a bit spared because he was from a different kingdom.

A bit because he was still made to help in exterminating.

As for Zian, up to this point, he still has no idea just why they are simply accepting this fact.

"I don't think you are these kind of people," Zian asked Hunter.

At some point his work became easier because his injuries were healed and he was brimming with energy.

And now more people are doing the job.

But at the same time he was fuming mad and worried about these kids who are trying to kill themselves at his Empire that is not worth it.

"There are so many types of people, prince," Hunter replied.

They were sitting after a long day of looking around and exterminating.

"Please, Zian is fine. I really am not a prince here. Plus being called one by you is really... a bit..."

"I am away from my own Empire, you really don't have to think too much about that," Hunter replied.

"But well Felix and I have already agreed, can't you spare us with the feeling?" Zian asked.

He felt like he was not older by actually trying to beg this younger brother to stop calling him prince.

Hunter relented as he could see that Zian would keep on pestering him about calling him by his name.

"Anyway, I haven't seen your commander, was she on a different mission right now?"

Hunter shook his head, "She is moving as well but she will surely return."

Just as he said this, they heard commotion coming from where the nobles are.

"The first prince was injured and the castle was destroyed, some were injured as well."

That was what they heard upon getting close.

Zian asked Kayleb, who was present of what had happened.

It seems that some demonic beasts were able to enter the Imperial City and the castle was targeted being on the side where the demonic beasts came in.

"What are you still standing there? Get to the Imperial City this instant," Frank berated Nixon and the other two.

Willow was to help in rebuilding the palace.

Even Stormie and Drake are starting to want to fight back, it was obvious that the three of them were tired.

"Why don't you let them rest until tomorrow before sending them there?" Zian replied walking forward in front of the three of them.

"Hah, second prince it is your fault for not being good enough that demonic beasts have entered the imperial city. At the same time these people for taking their sweet time in coming here. It was their mission to protect all of us from the darkness."

Zian was about to blow up when a hand was placed on his shoulder.

"It is fine your highness."

He turned when he didn't recoginze the voice.

Turning, he was met with her red eyes where he couldn't fathom a single thing.

"I am Saphira Fiamma, the commander of the order, the three of them shall follow you back to the Imperial City. Go on and lead the way."

"So-"

"You are in a rush right? You should go."

Frank was about to insult her but she interrupted him and her eyes that nothing could be read stared straight at him.

He felt like something was gripping his throat at that very moment.

But Saphira wasn't even exuding any type of aura

Yet Frank could feel so much pressure.

As he couldn't take it anymore, he harrumphed.

"Follow me you three."

With that Saphira turned to the three of them.

She only looked at them and they already nodded.

Felix and Zian frowned while Stormie, Drake and Hunter remained silent.

After watching them leave, Saphira turned to the few of them.

"One day."

As she spoke, she took a step towards the place where more demonic beasts are staying.

"Wha-"

Zian couldn't understand why she would send her teammates to the Imperial City when they were obviously too tired and all.

He wanted to reprimand her but Hunter shook his head and followed Saphira, together with Stormie and Drake.

Felix may not understand it like himself but he can tell something is different with Saphira.

She looks like the calm before the storm.

Without another choice, Zian followed the five of them while telling the others to rest.

Saphira lead the way and just as a mob of demonic beasts appeared, without the others getting a move, fire ignited from the ground and burned them all to ashes.

"What are you doing following me? I told you one day," she speak up without looking back at them.

Drake and Stormie nodded their heads.

Stormie pulled Felix on a different side while Drake pulled Zian on another.

"Wha- What is... going on?" Zian asked when he heard another explosion coming from where Saphira and Hunter was.

"We are to clean this place up in a day. That is what she meant."

Zian frowned, one day?

They have been here for almost half a year already, the last part they cleaned up took them about 8 months.

What did he mean by one day?

But his confusion soon disappeared when he watched Drake take care of the beasts.

They were like ants under his feet being trampled so easily.

Then what was the strength they had been showing all this time?

Felix was no different as he watched Stormie kill the beasts no matter where she go.

Some explosions coming from some sides where Hunter and Saphira were.

Close to complete the day, all six of them returned.

Zian was in complete shock as they dominated all of the demonic beasts surrounding them, up to those that are one kilometer away.

Felix wasn't spared either, he understood now just how much they have been holding in their anger.

Now that they exploded, the path they took were left with nothing but the demonic beasts blood bath.

"Take care of the rest here," Saphira spoke to Kayleb.

Without anyone mentioning she could tell this one is the one leading them when the prince is not around.

"You go with us," she spoke to Zian gone was the respective tone.

And the moment her last word dropped she turned towards the direction of the Imperial City.

And her face that remained with nothing turned dark causing shivers run down the spine of all who are present except her friends, who had the same look as her.

"Time to turn this place around."
