CHAPTER 212: Be Disappointed If It Didn't Work

Raizen was stupefied, his eyes remained looking at Willow.

Willow herself was shock when she noticed someone was staring at her and found Raizen within the higher officials.

It was there she knew he wasn't simply a knight.

"Close your mouth," someone nudged Raizen.

"Oh, sorry."

"But isn't that the lady you had been hanging around with? Didn't expect that she was actually a part of that order."

"It seems are fear of meeting some haughty people was for a naught. You have been talking about how down to earth that lady is. And to think that her family could be considered a royal if they were to stay outside of Qillian Empire," the other added.

"Quiet now," the general told them.

The threes tood straight ready to listen.

"We have come a few days prior and found that the kingdom was in the best state. That is why your majesty, theking and the queen, my order would like to spend time within your kingdom to increase our strength in fighting against the darkness."

Saphira's demeanor was filled with respect and politeness.

It was almost the same as when Cedric and the other two met her.

Almost because back then she didn't have the aura of a platinum knight.

The real reason they looked down at her on that particular day was because of her aura that she didn't show.

But on this day, they can see it much clearer, the aura of the one leading the highest order.

An aura not even their general could compare despite the fact that she was way younger than him.

The aura that showed the experience she had been to all this time.

Hers was big but Hunter was the same, this one wasn't the same as an aura of the experience but instead an aura that shows he was born with authority.

With the aura of someone who will be great.

The two of them were compatible indeed.

But not just the two of them, even the rest had an auar strong enough to amke others shiver.

Though it wasn't to the extent of a general but it was close to it.

Even Raizen couldn't compare, he didn't expect that the seemingly simple woman was actually hiding such an enormous aura.

"To train?" Nathalia asked Saphira.

"Yes your majesty. To train and improve more, we are lacking a place with such peacefulness and cleanliness, we hope you would allow us this little favor," Saphira replied.

"Cleanliness?"

"Being the home town of the former hero, the air surrounding your kingdom has lesser dark aura with it. It does not interfere with your abilities, that's why I can also tell that your knights..."

She glanced at the three captains and the general, "Has the best environment for their abilities to improve, without the darkness hindering them in any way."

Nathalia and Saphira had spoken about this in private but Saphira didn't say anything about this that Nathalia's curiosity has been piqued.

"Is it alright for you to elaborate what you mean?" she asked.

"Darkness aura is all over the world, especially after the darkness have risen once again. As people who also relies on the natural elements and natural things to improve even more. And to have other choices when we fight..."

As she spoke, not just the queen but even the rest of the people started listening attentively.

"The more we try to use the natural elements, the more that we also accumulate the dark energy surrounding us. It will pass through our veins towards our heart. The more it accumulates, the more darkness will fill us."

She sighed, "The more we have them the more negative emotions we will have and as that goes on..."

"Darkness will slowly eat you up," Nathalia finished for her.

Saphira nodded her head.

"Then does that mean, the knights are now..."

Cedric looked at the general and the other three captains.

Saphira smiled before shaking her head, "That is why I said that this kingdom is one of the cleanest with been at. Also, if you don't allow those negative emotions to eat you up, you would be able to overcome them. Only those who let these negative emotions remain and even nurture them will end up succumbing to it."

She saw that they breath a sigh of relief after hearing this.

"But I do want to remind you, there are more ways than one for the darkness to infiltrate a human heart. We can't be careless at all."

Her reminder made the rest purse their lips.

Indeed even if their kingdom is a bit special, it doesn't mean that they can be protected if they don't protect theirselves with improving their own strengths.

Nathalia smiled, "You gave us such a kind reminder. I suppose we can no longe rhave any complains about you training for indeed, the demonic beasts attacking our kingdom aren't too many."

Saphira smiled and bowed, the rest followed, "We thank you, your majesty, for your kindness."

"As for where you will stay," Nathalia started.

"Please, the place we are at, is the best place. An open space for training and a forest behind it, a good place to work things out."

Saphira has no desire on staying on the palace.

First because she can't have them know what they wanted to train.

That is in order for them not to rely on it and be disappointed if it didn't work.

Blaming it on the order for making them hopeful only not to be able to do it.

Second was of course because of the princess.

The smile on Saphira's face almost faltered when Anastacia continued staring at Hunter.

No it had faltered but she was able to remain nonchalant and didn't even glanced at her, she didn't show her annoyance but she was already fuming mad.

This lady really doesn't know how to learn a lesson.

She had blatantly showed her that she is of no match to her but she was still having that wishful thinking.

Nathalia let them go and as they walked out of the hall, hunter placed a hand on top of her head.

He didn't say a thing or did he looked at her but he simply placeed his hand on her head.

Saphira chuckled but didn't say anything as well.
