Saphira nodded her head with a smile, "Yeap you got it. Shall we move towards the mana now?"
Felix was breathing heavily as he sat down on the ground.
It took him two days just so he can control her ability without his own ability interrupting it.
"Can't I have a bit of a rest?" he asked her pitifully.
Saphira smiled but it was teh scary smile they didn't really didn't want seeing.
"Do I look like I had been taking breaks?"
Not only Felix but even others who were with them felt shivers run down their spine as she spoke of these words with that particular smile.
Felix immediately stood up, "Who was talking about breaks? Let's go, let's do this."
Saphira's smile widened and her eyes almost turned into slits.
Then it disappeared, "Let's go then."
With enough focus, she was able to create the mana fire that everyone had been trying to make.
All the others stopped and watched her.
Up to now, the best they could do was a fist sized one.
But Saphira had told them that they will be creating a pillar using the fire, that means even if the size is the same as the size of the head, the fire should be able to project upwards.
Of course, this pillar isn't the very thick one, all she needed was a diameter of twelve inches and it should be one meter higher than the highest point of the area that they will be creating the barrier on.
The fire she made was actually the size they needed and they could feel the strength from it.
Seeing them watching her, Saphira thought for a bit before facing all of them.
"Okay, I will show you today the thing I wanted you to do."
WIth that, she raised both hands and controlled the fire to shot it up towards the sky.
At the same time, moving to the ground almost enveloping ehr whole body.
If not for the fact that the diameter wasn't lacking to cover her whole body.
They watched in awe because they could feel the thickness of the mana and its concentration.
It was nothing compared to the past where they simply project it to see how much they have improved when it comes to its amount.
They can also see that there are some glittering ones that was moving towards it but it could only move around it.
They were like moths flying around a fire.
She didn't allow it to linger for more than a minute.
It returned to its head sized fire look.
"Do you understand?" she asked.
"Those glitter like lights were the natural fire element that is surrounding us. If you made it properly then they could only float around the pillar."
Hunter thought for a bit before he created the same mana fire, golden brown in color, as clear as that of Saphira's.
He raised it up and slowly the fire turned to a pillar reaching a height that couldn't be seen below.
Just like Saphira, little light floated around it but couldn't get close.
Hunter pulled it back, just as fast as Saphira did.
Saphira grinned at him before raising both her hands to give him a thumbs up.
The rest were both amazed and jealous, these two are really on aleague of their own.
"You have seen what we are trying to do right now. So train more until you reach that level. You can take your time but do not have too sweet of a time. We are still facing so many things," Saphira told the other five.
They looked at her and acknowledged but they were still too curious about how Felix will do that they chose to watch for the time being.
Saphira didn't stop them either and simply returned ehr look to Felix.
"Now..."
She created a much smaller mana of fire, the size of the fist of a baby.
"Connect your aura to this just like what you have been doing with my ability."
Felix controlled his thread and moved it towards the mana fire.
As he did, just as it gets close it stopped.
Felix frowned and tried again and again only to have some kind of barrier stopping it from getting close.
"That is because your power isn't here to simply approach the mana but instead it is getting closed while allowing itself to be absorbed."
Saphira started explaining, "Just like how the natural elements are being attracted to what we showed a while ago. Your power is also being attracted to it, we have the same one after all."
"Then how am I supposed to do it?" Felix asked her in exasperation.
"Just like how I created the mana, you have to ensure that yours is enclosed to itself. That it is not allowing any natural element to be absorbed by it. With that it will be able to identify itself as a separate one, a separate entity from mine. Making it something that nothing could absorb."
The others were listening attentively as well.
"Just like the thread of a puppeteer, it will only surround the puppet but it won't pierce through the fabric of the puppet."
Felix took a deep breath, Saphira's was already the puppet. The reason why he can't wrap his thread on it is because the puppet was not allowing it to get close for it will be pierced through by this other ability.
As he took deep breaths to calm himself, Saphira smiled.
He really is a hardworking one.
He knows how to think things through and not to be agitated when things don't go the way he wants.
'A knight worthy of his title as the prince. He will surely be able to lead his kingdom to greatness,' she complimented in her mind.
Felix refocused himself and created the thread of fire surrounded with his aura.
He ensured that this fire won't attract anything just like Saphira's mana.
After creating one, he slowly made it move towards the little fire in Saphira's hand.
Saphira smiled as it got close.
