CHAPTER 308: As Much As You Can

Drake and Willow glanced at one another.

Drake has already made it clear to her but it was Willow who was still undecided.

He wasn't applying pressure on her but it seems that it was Saphira who lost her patience.

"I am not pressuring you. I just don't want us to deprive ourselves with the happiness we could have. Our time is limited, we will never know our future."

A story from a book where the heroine chose not to focus on her love and instead focused on what she has to do.

In the end, they didn't regret it, the heroine and her love interest but Saphira felt that they deprived themselves of happiness for so many years.

And personally she felt that it was too bad.

Because the time lost could never be returned.

"I only wish for all of us one thing..."

She looked at each of them, "Be happy as much as you can."

Stormie looked at Nixon while he held her hand.

As compared to the past, he was capable of touching her, he can get close to the others and heal them without the layer of water.

But towards the other ladies? It is still a bit of a hurdle but he's getting better.

Felix smiled happily and placed a hand around Ridge's shoulders.

Ridge did the same for him.

Both of them may have not yet found their special someones nevertheless, both of them are the happiest seeing the others being happy.

"No pressure."

Willow looked up at Drake when she heard him speak.

He smiled at her and she smiled back.

That night, after discussing what they are to do next after creating the barrier, the rest of them were in a bar together with Kara, Hans, and the others who wished to fight alongside them.

The way Kara and the other's were meticulously watching themselves in order to get close but at the same time not to cross the line, allowed the others to be comfortable around them.

At this moment, all of them are merrily talking about each other's love stories.

Since the topic had started earlier that day, it continued on during their dinner.

About Saphira and Hunter.

About Felix, Stormie and Nixon.

And even about Ridge, who has not found his special someone at this moment.

Kara and the rest listened attentively and would even laugha dn had fun listening to the stories.

"You and Hans, are you?" Stormie couldn't help but ask.

"Oh, are you asking about our relationship?" Kara asked with a smile.

"Well, since we are already in the topci, I really am just curious."

Kara chuckled, "Don't be nervous, I am glad that you guys are being curious about me. I mean you and i will get the chance to know one another more through asking questions right?"

Willow and Stormie nodded their heads in enthusiasm.

Kara was a gentle kind of lady but fierce when it comes to fighting.

She has this warmth that makes others be attracted towards her.

Hans was a man with few words but he smiles warmly and gives off the aura of a big brother.

Both of them were the complete contrast of the people they knew in the past, and so it allowed them to relax and be comfortable.

Well if it was not only the face but even the attitudes were the same, they wouldn't be able to spend time with them at all.

"Well, we are indeed lovers."

Willow and Stormie became even more interested. They had the look of wanting to know more.

Kara chuckled shyly before she continued.

"Uhmmm ll we really didn't know one another until we entered the knighthood at eighteen."

"So young," Stormie explained.

Kara smiled, "I really wanted to become a knight from the get go. While he..."

She looked at Hans and looekd at her before raising an eyebrow and chuckling.

"I guess my family just wants me to become a knight."

"You didn't want to be here?" Nixon was the one who asked this time.

"At first that was the truth of the matter. But soon I met her and I watched her hardwork to the point that I found myself wanting to get close to her."

Kara laughed when he get to this point making the rest even more curious.

"Well, we weren't the friendly type at the beginning. And somehow at some point, we started challenging one another. The infuriating thing is, he didn't really want to be here but he was better than I am..."

Kara had the look of disbelief and looking like she was cheated.

"Can you believe it? He didn't have the heart to stay but he keeps getting better and better more than I, who wants to be here."

The others laughed, Kara doesn't look like it but her humour is truly something else.

"Anyway, i soon found out that he also started training harder just to be come much better than I am. Because not until I beat I will never stop challenging him."

"Could it be in order to get her attention?" Ridge asked Hans.

He laughed before raising both hands, "Guilty as chrged."

Like young teens, Willow and Stormie couldn't help but to squeal.

The guys moved away from them while the other two with them laughed at the wya they are all interacting.

Kara laughed as well, "Well that's how it is. Things went from one thing to another until we became official."

"Cute," Stormie couldn't help but to say.

"Though what made me really stick to being a knight was when all of you started your journey in eradicating the darkness about almost two years ago."

Hans turned serious, so is the rest.

"I don't know how many times you heard this but we are proud and was truly grateful for all your hardships and we apologize that you have to suffer a lot. That is why in this kingdom, we want to be there beside you and support you as much as we can."

This was the longest words he had spoken and the others were seriously touched by it.

Drake, Saphira and Hunter watched on the side, they were smiling for their friends who found new ones but they really couldn't get close.

That's just it.
