CHAPTER 335: No Matter What Live

"Saphira, calm down. We are not blaming you for anything. More like, you made the right decision. If more people were to know that they are in here. Actually within the imperial city, panic will be all over the place," Hunter grabbed her shoulders.

"That's right. Though admittedly it was a shock that you didn't even tell us the heads. But seeing as the current crown prince were aware. That is more than enough. And just one question, is that the reason why more and more people are leaving the imperial city?" Reginald spoke next.

Saphira nodded her head, "I had prince Gideon and the rest to take care of that."

"Why them?"

"Because the darkness in their hearts were the least among all the people in here."

She turned to the imperial city and when they followed, they were able to see that despite the miasma's rampage, there are people who remained untainted. They were the ones saving the rest of the people.

"And that is also why I asked them to be discrete because surely the dark lord will realize what is going on if we make sudden movements," she added.

Reginald placed a hand on her shoulder.

"You made the right decision indeed. Because of that we were given more time to prepare. So now..."

He turned to the rest of them.

"Let's get over this final battle shall we?"

"Yes sire," they answered in unison before they departed that place.

This time it is time to face everything, the last generals of darkness and the dark lord himself.

"Are you ready?" Lily asked Saphira.

"Well, I have been prepared ever since I realized that he was actually in this same home we were calling," Saphira replied.

When she got hold of the mana of the rest and got it to blend with the light ability, her strength in feeling the darkness around increased as well.

And when she did regain her consciousness of the outside of her body, she realized that the should have been seven floor imperial prison underground ended up becoming eight floors.

It was already dark. The place was already filled with darkness but the bottom one was nothing but darkness, not swimming along but instead it was nothing but darkness.

And she realized that the darkness on the other floors were flowing down towards the one at the most bottom one.

After realizing what was going on, she couldn't help but to mock themselves when all along it was actually them who was feeding the dark lord everything to make him stronger.

She realized that they were the ones causing their own demise.

"You go and support the rest of the people. But at the same time look for the generals. And when you find Raynisha, call for me."

Determination was in her eyes.

"Allow me to end everything for her."

They didn't ask more. They simply nodded in agreement.

She looked at Hunter when he held her arm just as the rest went their way.

Without words, he pulled her and grabbed her nape before closing in the distance between their lips.

He kissed her deep but not long.

"No matter what live," he spoke.

She smiled and pulled him down in order to plant a kiss on his forehead, "So do you."

It was not just them who were like this.

Drake also pulled Willow on the side just before they depart to give help on the rest.

He hugged her tight and she did as well.

"Keep safe, please," he asked in a begging tone.

"You too," she returned with that same tone.

Drake looked down at her adn cupped her cheeks.

"I love you, always remember that."

"I love you as well, no matter what so know that there will be someone who will grief when you lose your life when you are about to lose yourself."

He blinked, he understood what she was trying to say.

If he were to face his brother and anger erupts, he should just remember her. That she will cry if he loses himself.

He smiled and kissed her, "I will never lose myself again."

He stopped thinking about that person as his brother. Or that anyone was at fault for everything.

He simply thinks about the safety of everyone else.

Of Willow who was now in his arms.

If ever, he knew he will never win a fight against his brother Ardel, now the dark lord. He knew only Saphira can do it, with their right assistance, she will be able to defeat him.

But not them, they won't be the main attackers.

On anither side, Nixon and Stormie silently hugged one another.

The complete contrast of how they have always been.

The two most talkative members are currently quiet.

Nixon sighed as he hugged her tighter before pulling back.

He looked straight in her eyes as she did the same towards him.

At this moment, they are both communicating through their eyes.

No more words just emotions they knew they themselves are feeling at the moment.

Both of them are in fear of losing one another. They knew how dangerous this is or how not everyone could come out alive from it. And that's what scares them.

Stormie finally opened her mouth but before words could come out, Nixon closed the distance between them and kissed her fervently.

Stormie almost whimpered at what she can feel from his kiss.

Worry, fear, love, care, everything that was going on in his heart.

She wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him more.

After letting her go, he sighed.

"It is time."

She nodded her head.

"I love you," he added.

Stormie bit her lip, trying her best not to be too emotional at this juncture.

"I love you too."

Nixon smiled and gestured for her to go.

He watched her disappear in the distance before turning to get to his position as well.

Each of them have heaviness in their hearts, but everything is inevitable.

The short peace they had has come to an end.

It is time to finish this one and for all.
