Chapter 21

This would allow Timothy to take advantage of cloning any items or artifacts the township's citizens to make a profit, and to be able to continuously increase his personal wealth without needing to leave his township which was a rather safe place now. And so Tommy took his leave after he handed over the items Timothy wanted presently and signed a contract agreement with him.

"You shouldn't celebrate quite yet Timothy." Master Shi told him as he began cloning all of the new items he now had in his possession. "You should only do it once for all of those within this township because after that, you should have enough wealth just from the quantity of items you could sell for gold pieces. Which means in six months, you should focus on getting ready to leave this township behind."

Timothy's mother and father mentioned that in less than two months, they would begin making preparations to leave the township and to travel into a new region of Bark Kingdom to try and start a new life. They would be waiting this amount of time because that was how long it would take for his new baby brother to enter into the world.

Looking at his family's overall possible wealth, it would be enough to relocate, but the further they would choose to travel, the more gold pieces it would cost since transportation services were offered between villages, but they calculated the costs according to distance. Needless to say, just to get to a different region and enter Mist City which was the closest city, it would cost the family of four roughly eight hundred gold pieces and that did not include meals.

As one would expect, one and a half months after the exchange between Tommy and Timothy, there was now a new member of the family. Timothy and his parents were very happy for the blessing and on the spot Timothy himself made a promise to the heavens that he would do all he can in order to help his now little brother.

The day after his brother was born, Timothy was able to receive an opportunity and he broke through as a dual cultivator to Elementary level two of Body Refinement. This was not unusual since whenever a life changing event happens to cultivators, it was a sign that they would more than likely find a way to break through their current limits and advance. Master Sei was pleased with Timothy's growth.

Timothy's brother was named Joshua after his grandfather who was responsible for bringing their family to the township and starting a blacksmith business. Even if his mother had several other names to choose from, her new son looked like a Joshua and so she settled on the name when Arthur suggested it.

Following these events, everyone around town began heading towards their residence to discuss selling some of their extra items and artifacts to Timothy. On his father's request, Timothy was not the one to bring up the trade deal with others and instead, it was his parents who slowly spread word.

Day by day, Timothy worked hard on his cultivation and his personal wealth increased at a rapid rate since he was able to clone so many items and artifacts. At first, he was afraid that his storage ring would not be able to fit everything in, but it was only when the final resident of the township gave Timothy their items, that he noticed not even a fifth of the space was filled up!

That night at dinner, Timothy explained to his parents that he had received everything and in another month or so, Tommy would send someone to trade everything in. In the meantime, his parents were to begin preparing to leave the township once and for all especially now that little Joshua was big enough to begin traveling with.

Timothy and his parents originally planned to leave once Joshua turned one years old, but the little baby was well behaved and rarely even cried. Therefore, they were ahead of schedule and this made their eyes light up. The goal would be to move to a large village outside of the region they were in temporarily and for Timothy to try to be recruited into a school within the city.

If Timothy was able to be recruited into a school, it would potentially make it easier for his family to follow suit and integrate into the city. This was entirely possible now that if Timothy could sell all of the extra items and artifacts he did not personally use, he would have a small fortune.

According to Master Sei, when sold, Timothy should expect roughly three thousand gold pieces. With such a fortune, Timothy could start purchasing bigger ticketed items and work the market to obtain a profit. Lower tier treasures were normally worth at least two thousand gold pieces, which was now possible for Timothy to start purchasing even if it would only be one at a time.

Luckily, Timothy's parents had enough savings to not only cover the trip to a village, but to also rent a room in a hotel for roughly six months without worrying about paying any other bills like food and such. Therefore, Timothy did not need to worry about dishing out any funds of his own to help support them for quite some time so he could build his wealth with no other worries.

-In Hollow City's Governor's Mansion, Hidden Room-

"From what my scouts have gathered, it looks like that child and his family will be leaving this region. It was a shame that the child forced my hand to act against your family, but I had no choice in the matter, especially with the royal Emperor of Bark Kingdom's men reporting his ill feelings towards the fact that I could not uproot the thriving slave trading where I was in charge of." the governor told a figure sitting across from him who Timothy would be able to recognize instantly; the Patriarch of the Flamed Roots clan.

"I have already sworn my absolute loyalty to the true Emperor of this world and that other one. Losing my family was of course enough to drive me mad for many weeks, but the past is now the past and I was called up north to begin anew." the Patriarch replied with an ugly look on his face. In truth, it was nearly impossible for him not to die of old age in such a small township with no experts would even travel past.
