Chapter 110

He was not able to spend too long of a time to solely focus on cultivating, but Timothy knew that the moment he could spend just a few years cultivating, he would reach much higher heights due to his Bronze Body Physique and the additional training resources he now was able to obtain due to his sheer level of personal wealth and being less than a week away from the coliseum in Tornado City from his merchant group's headquarters.

Therefore, it would not be much of a loss if Tyler was able to obtain the fallen immortal's inheritance. Due to them having to wait some time until the small world would open, Timothy began to learn a little more about who the ancestor actually was from Tyler. According to records, roughly two hundred years ago, an immortal expert had traveled here from the other side of the world. It looked like an entire army of demon beasts were trying to corner the expert to kill him.

The expert was known to have a very unique constitution and attacks that were of the destruction element. Because the human expert had killed many high ranking demon beasts, those few demon beasts who had high intelligence decided among themselves to kill the human immortal as quickly as they could, so that the threat would be gone. And so after fighting a non stop battle for an entire month, the immortal had finally fallen in battle after taking roughly two million demon beasts along with him.

Hearing the story, made Timothy think a little more as he looked around the area. The lands looked to be somewhat unique, like there were not too many grass areas or fields. Rather, the area they were standing in, was covered in dirt which was usually the case in areas that experienced constant war whether humans against other humans, or humans against demon beasts.

There was a legend that there was a major battlefield where countless humans and demon beasts were constantly fighting against one another, but Timothy was unsure if the legendary battlefield actually existed. His opinion on this matter was slowly shifting as he heard that a single immortal expert was able to slaughter his way through over two million demon beasts for an entire month without rest. If such battlefields did exist, just how would they look compared to this area where he currently stood?

"Since you do not care about obtaining the inheritance, I feel that it would be a fair setup for our group to split what we obtain in a fifty fifty split. My uncle here is not in need of any treasures or items, so you and I will just each talk half of the total loot. Unfortunately, that is the best offer that I could give you. My uncle is here specifically for my protection, so if the situation calls for it, he will be choosing my life over yours no matter what."

"Still, there should be very few other groups who would be willing to give us trouble. I may not be that highly renowned, but our Blood Ridge clan demands complete and total respect. One of our iron laws as a clan, is that anyone who chooses to kill a direct descendant publicly, will receive the complete wrath of the entire clan until one or both sides no longer exist in this world. However, this does not mean that my clan is squeaky clean either, we do have several rivals."

"One of our rival clans is actually here and has a rather big group, but what they have in quantity, they lack in quality. If needed, my uncle would most likely take care of them all by himself so we just need to make sure that we find a good hiding space if such a scene would occur. My uncle may be my assigned bodyguard of sorts, but he is one of the pillars of our branch clan who is in charge of serving ours."

"Our branch clan is able to learn some of our blood techniques, but it is very rare that they would have a good enough physique to handle it. Therefore, only those who reach the Advance stage of cultivation in our branch clan are able to have some of those techniques passed down to them. My uncle here is only one of the seven branch clan members who have been able to learn and use more than a single blood technique."

"He has a rather unique position within the branch clan and personally controls over ten thousand experts. My uncle is widely known as someone who would rather not enter into a battle, because he understands the ramifications of entering such battles. If even a single expert under him found out that someone gave him some trouble, he would be forced to report it to everyone else, which would cause a war level battle to occur."

Hearing about Tyler's so called uncle who was serving him as a bodyguard on this trip made Timothy's body shutter. For such an expert who commands a large legion of other experts to personally serve as only a bodyguard, was not heard of by him unless it was someone of an Emperor level background. Even then, it would be extremely rare for someone who also reached such heights to be alone.

"Then I will have to thank you and your uncle for taking me in. If the situation calls for it, I will try my best to also help and protect you as well. Being a dual cultivator as myself, I might be able to take a few more hits compared to you Tyler, so please do not mind me." Timothy told them with a light smile. For him to have run into a young master with such a background as well as his bodyguard who commanded so many experts, made Timothy realize that it was possible his luck had now turned around slightly.

With all of this in mind, Timothy still felt that the heavens would continue to make his journey towards immortality not an easy one. So although he liked the fact that he was able to constantly meet powerful experts while becoming friendly with them, it was possible that he would even potentially be pulled into a major conflict due to such contacts. This made his head spin, but at least he was currently no longer heading into the ancestor's tomb alone.
