Casual Weekend

"I'm coming,"

David let out in a loud voice as he rushed out of the kitchen. He had heard the knock on the door and he wondered just who it could be when it was still so early in the morning. Besides Lily hadn't told him about expecting any sort of visitor. He had to remember to wipe his hands clean with the napkin as he went to get the door.

The knock came again with him being already close to the door, and this irritated him to the very core. How impatient could the person be that he or she couldn't even wait for at least a few seconds? For heaven's sake he already said he was coming.

Maybe a few verbal lashes from him to the person would screw back the loose knots in the person's head.

He unlocked the door before half-opening it. But as he stood by the entrance, preparing to speak out his mind on how impatient the person was, whom he saw standing there rendered him speechless. Hell, he was utterly dumbstruck at the sight.
