Chapter 8

"Should we wake them"? I ask Milo as we stare at my brother and his best-friend cuddled up into the same sleeping bag. "Nahh give them a couple more minutes, knowing your brother I don't think he'd like us seeing this just yet". He says. I nod agreeing. He zips up their tent then turns around to fast me.

Blushing under his gaze I swiftly turn around but before I can even take a step away I'm pulled back into a nice pair of muscular arms. Snapping my gaze upwards to stare at his eyes in wonder. "You know your really pretty when you blush". He states. I look away. Staring at the beautiful scenery.

This sure is a beautiful spot. Remembering I'm in his arms I slowly look up. He's just staring at me. It's like he can see right through me. I fit perfectly in his arms, it's as if I belong in them. I wonder what he's thinking...

The more we stare at each other it feels like we are the only two on this earth. "You know as much as I like this sight, I would love to get back to a real bed and get something other than a sandwich in my tummy". Kj says leading Sofia out of their tent. I can't help but notice the slight blush that seems to permanently be set on her cheeks.

Her wild hair letting us all know she would like a comb and a brush to tame them a little more than her fingers can. I start to walk but suddenly I'm yanked back to Milo again but this time he grunts slightly and picks me up bridal style. I shriek and laugh uncontrollably. "Miloooooo" I exaggerate his name as I look at him with questions in my eyes.

"I can't help it, I like having you in my arms or near me at all times". He states.I blush and hide my face under his chin so he can't see my face. "You know you could just ask her out" Allena states in a sing song voice, making my face drain from color, and me tense up. Date. D. A. T. E. I've never even had a boyfriend and she knows this. Why would I? People only want us for our parents money!

I don't think Milo could ever want me because of my money but I don't even know him like that. Peaking up at him through my eyelashes. He is quite handsome. His pale green eyes, that charming smile, smooth tan skin, beautiful curly hair, and his muscles. O M G I sound like a schoolgirl with her first crush. Ewww. "What are you thinking about"? Milo questions me. "Oh nothing I say. He tightens his grip on me then starts walking. My hands shoot up and around his neck, scared he would drop me. Even if he did I know it would never be intentional.

He sits me down on a log. "You stay put beautiful, I'm going to get our stuff". He says sends me a blinding smile on his way to our tent over his shoulder. Damn he so fine. Date. I mean- "how was your night"? Sofia asks. "Oh it was pretty good, we basically watched the sun set and talked about the stars and he read my book to me until I fell asleep then before I was fully out he kissed my forehead", I explained the nights event to her.

Her eyes went wide then she let out a long "awwwe". Making me blush and Kj chuckle beside her. He had gathered all their belongings and stepped up to the conversation after I said something about the sunset. "You guys are cute! You'd make a great couple"! Sofia practically screamed out of excitement. "Yes we would". Milo says hugging me from behind, making me squeal out embarrassingly. "Let's go guys we have to make sure we are the first or second back to camp in order to get a two weeks off of camp"! Jayln shouts excitedly while carrying all of her and Allenas things.

30 minutes later

As soon as we got to camp everyone from the other teams showed up two minutes later. We shouted and jumped around like idiots since we arrived first. I was so caught up in the moment I agree to going on a date with Milo and I got my first kiss all at one time. I was so overwhelmed that I passed out in his arms once realization of what happened hit me in the head like a tone of bricks.

Once our parents heard that we got two weeks off camp our mom sent John to come get us and once John saw that we made friends he said they could come with us on our private jet. So now I'm sitting here staring across from me. Milos sleeping form. He looks so innocent. I wonder when this date is to take place...

His lips were so soft. He wasn't rushing me or nothing he gave me time to pull away, I didn't! I lightly touch my lips, still feels like he's kissing me!

6 hours later

We are all sitting in our game room at home because mom met us at the air port and said we are all staying at the mansion. She was acting kind of strange. John too, he was very twitchy.

Putting my book down I looked up. "Hey Len don't you think mom and John are acting weird"? I question Allen. He bites his bottom lip and his eyes look up, his usual thinking face. After a couple minutes he nods. "Your righttt" he states exaggerating the t's. I laugh at him. "What you guys talking about"? Allena asks. "How weird momma and John are acting". I say shrugging nonchalantly. "That is true mom keeps walking by and peaking in here every couple of seconds. It's like she's waiting on something to happ"- "kids get ready we are going somewhere". John says then quickly walks out the room.

We all look at each other then shrug and head to the big living room.

8 minutes later

"You kids ready"? Mom questions. We all nod. Walking outside down the cobblestone pathway to the big hummer limo and get inside.

5 hours later

I wonder why the car ride was sooo long. What is mom planning? She's so weird! Her and John are in the front, with the talking window closed. Every time we tried to open it they'd close it. They opened it twice once to ask us wat we wanted to eat then to give us food. That was two hours ago.

The car has stopped and we are in the woods! The freaking woods. "You okay" Milo asks pulling me into his lap. I instantly blush. "Yes I'm fine" I tell him. He nods then rubs the outer sides of my thighs in a soothing manor.

Glancing around I see everyone slowly waking up. Milo stayed up with me the whole five hours being that he got the most sleep on the jet. "Where are we"? Jayln questions. "I have no idea" I state looking out the window at mom and John who are having a heated conversation.

"You have to tell them" I tell Scarlet. She nods "they can't just start turning with the pack! They have too know! They have to be ready did you not think this day would come. Did you forget about it"? I shout at her. "Calm down we have to wait for their parents to get here then we can tell them" she says calmly. I'm sweating bullets. Their not gonna believe us!

These kids, my kids! We have lied to them for so long. I sigh. Glancing at the limo I see Alice and the future king getting close. Oh god what If they aren't even... ugh I can't think about that right now.

Looking up at the trees I notice the moon is starting to come out and the sun is starting to set. They need to hurry up! Just as I'm about to go let the children out the limo I see the other parents pulling up. "Finally" I say loudly.

Their limo comes to a halt behind ours. They start getting out not even looking at the kids in the other limo. "Took y'all long enough"! I shout. "Oh hush the king roars" making me shrink back a little but I stand my ground still. "We have to tell them before the moon is fully up". I remind him. He shutters but nods nun the less. "What are we doing waiting in the car while you guys get to talk and interact stretching y'all's legs"? Allena questions stepping out the car, all the others following after her.

She has a mouth on her! Shaking my head, I smile at her. She has her mother's attitude. "We have something to tell you guys". Queen Reina also know as milo's mother states looking around at the kids, she visibly stops at Alice and milo's intertwined hands. "But first we will show you guys something". She finishes saying after a minute.

She turns around and enters the woods her husband and mate hot on her trail. We all follow her. The kids all take a moment to figure out they are supposed to come also.

I hope they don't freak out to much, they need all of their energy for their first shift tonight.
