I awoke to soft taps on the door. I was unable to answer to it and when I decided to, Gabriel's voice came through.

"May I come in?" he asked from the outside.

I twisted my body to release the stiffness in my muscles and with a yawn, "Come in."

The door creaked open, and when our eyes met, he laughed. He was laughing?

"What are you laughing at?" I inquired, and he ceased laughing. He moved closer, stooped down and wiped at the edge of my mouth. I realised what it might have been: dried drool.

"You didn't have to," I said to him. "You could have told me. I'd have done it."

"I didn't mind the task," he responded. "Wanna watch movies? I didn't disturb because you were asleep but lunch is ready."

"How long was I asleep?"

"Two hours. You seemed pretty happy and smiled a couple of times."

"And you were watching me?"

"Only the times when I came to check if you were alright," he responded lightly. We waited a while and when the silence tired us flat, he said we should go eat lunch.
