Chapter Eleven

(Tracy)

James' touch brings my entire body to life. Feeling him against me, inside me, no words will ever describe how incredible it is. How incredible he is.

I never thought biting someone or being bit by someone would be that fucking hot! Holy hell Batman!

I was lost in euphoria when James started laughing. Laughing! He was still buried inside me and he was laughing! Did he think what we just did was funny? Interrupting my internal rant I heard his voice inside my head, though his lips never moved. 'I've never been called Batman before, but I'd have to agree with you about it being fucking hot.'

Oh my gawd! He heard me think that! I couldn't help but laugh with him. "So all those times I thought people were having silent conversations with only looks they were actually having conversations, huh?"

"All pack members can communicate through a pack link."

He wasn't making sense. How could I hear him? "But I'm not pack. I'm not even a wolf."

"You are now. You're my mate. The future Luna of the New Moon Pack."

His words settled over the both of us; my fear reflecting in his eyes. Was he feeling it too? Luna of a pack of werewolves… I knew nothing about wolves. How was I supposed lead beside him? And why the hell didn't I think about this beforehand? Ugh! Now was not the time to think about this. Now was the time to think about this sexy man holding me, not stress about the unknown.

I figured I'd try this link thing. 'I love you.'

The moment his serious expression changed to the sexy smirk I knew he heard me. 'And I love you my beautiful mate.'

Not sure how it was physically possible, but he pulled me closer into him, and kissed my nose. Then he slowly pulled out of me, sliding me down until my feet touched the cool cave floor. His eyes never leaving mine as he stepped back.

The moment his body heat left me the cold dampness seeped in. "It's getting cold. Maybe we should go back to my house and start a fire."

He nodded and went to gather our clothes that had been strewn about.

After making it back to the cabin we barely got the fire lit before the urge to claim ravaged us again. I couldn't keep my hands off him. I craved his touch on my skin, his lips on my mine, unlike anything before.

We were lying in my bed, beneath the blankets, snuggled together with my head on his chest after round three. James was running his fingers through my hair, gently massaging my scalp. His touch so soothing I could barely keep my eyes open. But I tried. There were things I needed to tell him.

"James."

His hand halted its movement. "What is it beautiful?"

"I still need to tell you what I know." I reached down running my fingertips over the mark on his hand; the one that matched my pendant. I could see it now clear as day. That glimpse I thought I'd seen was not a figment of my imagination. "The others things I've seen."

"Sleep first. We can talk about it in the morning."

I relaxed back into his chest, closing my eyes, as his fingers resumed their movement in my hair.

"Okay," I mumbled.

'Sweet dreams my love.' His words in my head were the last thing I heard before I fell into darkness.

This time when the dreams came they were not fuzzy, they were as clear as if they were happening right then. We were at the pack house, and there were so many people there I hadn't met yet. Most of them females, which struck me as odd. I was standing next to James when I heard the howls, then saw the wolves. 'We are under attack!' someone yelled. Next thing I knew I was standing inside the cave, hiding…all by myself.

I felt the bed shift and opened my eyes. James was sliding back into bed with a plate full of eggs, bacon, and fresh fruit. This man was too perfect.

"You cooked me breakfast?"

"Of course. I would do anything for you."

Awww…. I cannot believe this man is mine. "Thank you."

His eyes went distant and I knew now that meant someone was talking to him. When they shifted back to normal I looked at him with curiosity. When he didn't say anything I asked, "Anything important?"

"My parents want us back at the house."

"Us?"

"Seems my aunt told them you know we're wolves…" He looked at me questioningly. "…and since I didn't come home last night they are worried."

I gave him the biggest smile I could. "She may have answered the question you tried not to last night. I'm actually surprised she didn't tell you."

"Nope. She just said you took my truck and I would know where to find you. Have to admit I was a little upset to know you left without telling me. But I shifted and ran straight here. When I couldn't find you here I went to the cave." He smirked. "You looked an angel curled up in there. A very cold angel, but an angel nonetheless."

"Is that why I woke up with your wolf wrapped around me?" I asked, remembering the warm comfort I had woken up in.

"Yes, he was livid and wanted to protect you. Since you obviously already knew what I was I figured it wouldn't shock you too much, so I let him." He bent down and kissed my cheek. "Now let's get up and get over there before they send Anthony to fetch us. Then we would have to deal with his never ending commentary."

Now that was embarrassment I didn't want, nor need. "Let me take a quick shower, so I don't smell like sex when we see your parents, and then we'll go."

I made it all the way into the bathroom before I heard him through the link. 'You can shower all you want, but you'll still smell like me.'

He had to be teasing. 'Very funny.'

'Babe, we marked each other. Our scents merged.'

I could hear him laughing from the other room. He may have thought it was funny, but I was suddenly very aware that I was voluntarily walking into a werewolf pack house, smelling like their Alpha's son. They would all know the moment we walked in what we had done.
