Counseled

"Bravo!" Layla exclaimed from behind the camera loudly. Miyu had especially called a few directors to look at the act for today. The whole room suddenly broke into sudden thunderous applause. Although they were shooting photos, this was not less than a high quality act. Miyu had managed to capture it all with her camera too. She sent the video right away to her boss back in China.

That was when Chen Waan snapped out of her character but her tears did not stop.

"Are you okay?" Mo Yifan handed her a handkerchief.

Layla took her camera back out and signaled everyone to stay away from the area. Although she had wanted Miyu to take Chen Waan inside for her dress change and meanwhile work on individual photos for Mo Yifan, this scene was just too harmonious for her to not capture.

She dearly wished that the girl had worn a kimono rather than a samurai attire. This would have been a perfect picture then. Even so, this was okay as well. She took a few more clicks.

"I am sorry, I am not sure why I can't stop crying," Chen Waan replied. Why did she feel so much heart-break for a character that did not exist?

"You were just immersed in your character too much. The effect will wear off soon. It's okay," he patted her head lightly. Mo Yifan had been training not only for singing and dancing, but acting as well. And he really respected people who took their art seriously.

He had really felt the emotions from the girl just now. As a master, he could really how hard his friend was trying to hide his feelings but they were overflowing from his heart so much. It was a precarious situation for his friend and servant but the samurai had no choice but to still keep serving him. Her acting was impeccable. He had to applaud her for it.

What was more surprising was that for past two weeks, she did not have any acting training. The best trainer in the company was on a vacation for a month, so Wang Zenghao had delayed her acting lessons for some time. If without any training, she could give such a performance, he was looking forward to what she was going to show in the future.

Of course, in terms of acting, he himself did not have much experience. He only had a few minor roles and two supporting roles under his belt in addition to music videos and some commercial films. But despite this, he had undergone rigorous training under his master, so he knew how to judge someone's abilities.

Chen Waan nodded. He was her senior in the industry, so he would know better. Miyu brought water to her.

"I am sorry, I did not realize it would be so overwhelming for you. Next one's are easy, they are just pictures. So do not worry. Rest a bit, okay?" she spoke gently. She would show her the performance later. To have whole studio go quiet suddenly and only focus on their act was something she had rarely witnessed in her life.

Miyu took Chen Waan to get a change of dress for cosplay style photoshoot. Chen Waan looked at the dresses and chuckled.

"You guys do come up with strange ideas. I have never seen a photoshoot for idols as cosplayers," she laughed some more.

"That…," Miyu scratched her chin in embarrassment, "I wanted to do something different. And boss gave permission to try, so," she shrugged. Wang Zenghao had absolute trust in her and always let her experiment. She had begged for two weeks to him to lend her Mo Yifan though. But she had never expected to have such marvelous results. She got another talent for free.

"I wonder what the plans could be with the photoshoot. Like would they release it in a magazine, or online? Or is it a concept for his music videos in the future?" Chen Waan asked casually as her wig was being adjusted.

"Oh? That's a good idea. We have never done a traditional Japanese concept for any of his MVs. We have seen how well he does, we will definitely use it sometime in future. Yeah, we are going to use the cosplays for a magazine article," she replied. She was quite happy to have someone who could understand her sense of aesthetics. This girl was truly a talent to be nurtured.

Chen Waan was not aware of Miyu's real identity, thus she had just blurted out her thoughts. But from her reply, she knew instantly that she was dealing with some higher-up once again. Wasn't this becoming too high-profile for her? Wang Zenghao was making sure to go all out but was she really that good?

She had been feeling imposter syndrome for quite some while now. Did she really deserve all this? Although she did have her own motive and she did meet Mo Yifan by chance, was it okay for her to accept everything like this?

"Dear Waan, you should be proud at what you have." Miyu looked at the lines of worry that had appeared on the girl's face. She had almost deduced what the girl was thinking. She had been a veteran in this industry after all.

Chen Waan looked at Miyu with squinted eyes. Was she a mind reader too?

Miyu giggled at her reaction. But she really wanted to cultivate friendship with this girl. She had this purity about herself that was not suited for this industry but again, she was bold enough to fare well on her own. On the top of that, she had talent. And she could speak her language, so communication was quite easy too.

She could not help but pinch Chen Waan's cheeks that still had some baby fat left. She had heard she was strictly following the diet she was given and she had really came out as a very pretty woman within two weeks. She had seen earlier pictures and the transformation was real eye-opener.

"What I mean to say is, you have what it takes to be successful here. Wang Zenghao is not a person to invest when he is not sure of reaping rewards. Whatever he says, follow it thoroughly, okay? You cannot get a better mentor here. He has devised this formula for successful artists after much experiment. So, do not ever feel like you do not deserve it," Miyu continued placating the girl.

Chen Waan instantly relaxed after hearing such encouraging words. So, she did have something after all.

"Ms. Miyu, you are the best," she hugged the lady who was first surprised but she hugged her back. She was glad she could help another artist out of the doubts that had started to form.

If these seeds had taken roots, it could be devastating for he career when she would actually face the real hurdles in the future.
