Shopped

Having cornered his fans with his witty remarks, Mo Yifan once again entered the trending charts. A few people did call him out on his rude behavior but most of the people said that he could not have done it. And his words might have been lost in translation. And so, a few people started throwing shade at the translator.

People who were from his home country took his words as joke. All in all, his interview ended up becoming a huge hit with everyone, even though he was mocking his own fans.

Later in the day, Miyu took everyone out for shopping.

"Come on Chen Waan, try this out," Miyu took her to an expensive clothing store after this pink floral frock caught her eyes. She asked the salesgirl to take it out. All the employees of the store were mesmerized by how tip-top everyone in the group looked.

Of course, Mo Yifan and Wang Zibo had covered their faces with masks and sunglasses. They looked more like bodyguards of Miyu than some celebrities trying to hide their identity.

Anyway, the employees were used to having rich heirs coming to their store. So, they worked as usual, showing the two girls their collection. This was just another personal boutique of a small-time designer.

"I love the designs of this shop. Can I meet the designer?" Miyu gave her card to the person who looked like the manager of the store. The lady took the card and studied the glazing piece of paper carefully. When she realized who she was dealing with, she beamed and replied, "You are talking to the designer. Welcome to my humble shop mam."

"You don't need to be this formal. You look like in early twenties to me. How are you even able to afford such a fancy place in this high-end mall?" Miyu asked curiously.

The girl smiled politely. Was she being interviewed right now? Was this an opportunity to strike a deal with one of the directors of WhirlWind Entertainment?

"Fortunately, I am able to sell decent amount of clothes from this small shop," she replied humbly, looking over her shop with affectionate smile. From her demeanor itself, one could tell how much she treated her work like her own child.

"Hmm… what do you think of signing an exclusive contract with our company?" Miyu asked resolutely. She had found another talent just like that. How lucky was Chen Waan for them?

"E-exclusive contract?!" the boutique designer was pleasantly shocked. The store employees also gasped in surprise. If their employer did indeed sign some form of agreement with such a big agency, then everyone would be set for life!

The girl gave it some thought, then said, "I might have to see your terms first. I cannot agree right now." What she meant was, they needed to show their hand first. It was unfair for them to assume that she would get excited and take an emotional decision for them. That was how big corporations always screwed small firms.

Chen Waan nodded. Although she was younger, she agreed with this boutique owner's approach. It was always good to be extra careful, especially in these matters. An exclusive contract would mean her signing herself away to WhirlWind. Her designing talent was far more superior than supplying her dresses to just one person.

"Good, good. I shall be in touch with you," Miyu took a business card from the counter. Even her business card was uniquely designed. Black background and her name and brand embossed in golden with pretty design at the corners.

Chen Waan also picked up one. She would also want to learn from this girl in the future, if possible.

"Oh? Did you find her interesting too?" Miyu whispered in Chen Waan's ear. Chen Waan glanced at the girl at the counter once again with admiring eyes and nodded.

Miyu dragged her with her arms to the dressing room, "We will try the dresses we picked up now."

Now, there were two dressing rooms in total in the shop, completely private from each other. Since rich people did visit this shop, this was done to maintain everyone's privacy. Not just the décor of the shop but even the dressing rooms screamed the amazing aesthetics of the designer of the store.

There were huge sofas with intricate design on the backrest and mirrors behind on the wall. In front, there were four changing rooms to accommodate for larger parties. There was quite some thought put into designing this space.

"Ah, but…" Chen Waan wanted to protest badly. While she appreciated the designs, they were too expensive for her to buy from her own pocket. She would never be able to afford those by herself, not just yet anyway.

Miyu shoved the pink frock in her hands and then directed her to one of the dressing spaces. Mo Yifan and Wang Zibo also sat down on the sofas.

"I will show you the power of transformation," Miyu said proudly, a smirk adorning her face. They had not removed the make-up from the interview just now. Chen Waan had worn a simple grey colored formal dress for the event. There was minimal jewelry and her bob hair was left as it is. This was done to make sure she did not overshadow the star of the event, Mo Yifan.

The two who appeared for the interview, had changed attires to casual wear to not attract much attention. But of course, both Wang Zibo and Mo Yifan were such tall guys that they stood out everywhere they went.

"Uhh… Ms. Miyu, this dress is too short and revealing," Chen Waan complained from inside the room.

"Let me see," Miyu stood up and opened the curtains without any reservations, startling Chen Waan. The poor girl squealed in surprise. She was trying to adjust the dress but Miyu was taking too many liberties right now, which was almost to the point of making Chen Waan irritated.

She looked over the director's shoulders to find the two men staring at her. Since the dressing room was a private space, they had removed their disguises. She tried covering her legs with her hands but then her non existent cleavage got revealed. She was struggling for she was not used to such clothes. Her jeans and t-shirt were her best friends since her childhood. Too airy and too awkward.

"Listen here, stand straight. You are good," Miyu took Chen Waan's hands in her own and made her straight. On the other hand, Chen Waan wanted to just hide herself in a hole or something. Why was she not trained in fashion like this? Her whole face had turned pink out of embarrassment, matching the color of her dress.

"This will be a problem," Miyu commented, still holding Chen Waan's hands in place.
