"What is your name," I asked the guy as he began walking away. He stopped and slightly looked back towards me. He walked back to me and kneeled. The next thing I knew, we were face to face with his breath lurking around my nose.

"I would be the leader of this fine establishment you see all around you," he said while leaning back up and turning away. He then disappeared into the darkness. Jeremy and I sat there for a minute until he came back with some water. He gave Jeremy and me each a sip out of the cup. He then said:

"You go back and don't think about coming back, I will be by in a day or two to take something, and it will be anything I desire." His henchman came out from the darkness and picked us up and put us on our feet. They threw the bags back on our heads and pushed us forward.

"There is no point in putting these bags back on because I know where we are and the whole layout of the building." Everyone stopped dead in their tracks, and the bag came flying off my head.

"Get these shits outside and into the vans," The "Leader," said as we walked out the front door. We were then escorted to the white vans and thrown into the back. We sat there waiting in the van until the engine started up. I could feel the van start moving because I began to lean over, and Jeremy almost fell over. We drove out the exit and down the street. I could multiple bumps along the way, and I am pretty sure I knew what they were, but I am not here to assume.

As we pulled up to the jail, I could hear people shuffling around outside and lots of shouting. The back doors opened up, and the light shined in on us. The blinding light distracted me from what was out. Over in the front lawn was Aaron and Owen down on their knees with guns pointed at them. The men took us over to Aaron and Owen and walked us up to the front door. They let us go and walked back to the vans. The "Leader" came over and stopped right in front of me.

"Remember what I said, and I will be back for my prize," he said as he stared directly into my eyes. I felt as if he was digging a hole into my soul. He turned around and walked over to the first van. They all left, and we headed inside. We all went our separate ways for the time being until I could process what just precisely happened.

I ran over the situation hundreds of different times through my head, getting different results every single time. I walked down the hall and into the camera room, where I sat for a while, making sure that they wouldn't come back early. After a while had passed, I pressed the intercom button and said:

"Everyone met in the conference room for a meeting about our current situation." By the time I got there, everyone was there and waiting for me to walk in. Once I walked in and sat down, I began telling others about what happened while Jeremy and I were gone. Aaron couldn't believe what had happened. I told them that the "Leader" will be here either tomorrow or the next day to take one thing from us and that it was his choice. The only thing he might want is our mystery safe that we found before coming to the jail.

"I forgot about that thing," said Jim, now standing in excitement. Then immediately, Jim went trying to locate the mystery safe. The only problem with the safe is that we had no clue what might be in it. I could have some fantastic things like medicine and other precious resources that we could certainly use right now. But on the other hand and most likely it could have just everyday stuff like cash or jewelry. Something outside of this accursed situation would have been beautiful. But now they are almost entirely useless.

Jim soon came rushing back to us, giving us the rundown of where the safe was and that we now had the tools to open the damn thing.

"So, you're telling me we could open the damn thing if we wanted to?" I asked Jim with skepticism in my eyes.

"Yes, we can, now the safe would get ruined in the process, but we can open it." He said with that chipper and slightly annoying at times voice of his.

After a long second trying to decide what to do, I had finally come to a decision. "Don't open it, while it could have everything we need right now. We have no way of making it look safe after." I said nice and slow while still pondering if my choice was correct or not.

"It's better just to let them have it as a good faith gift and hope they either leave us alone after this or become trade partners," I said, impressed with myself and my insightful decision making. Then with that said, everyone went off to do their things. By the time the next day had come, I had hardly slept a wink afraid of what might happen. We began by getting the safe outside along with a few guns to let him select from. We all knew what he would take but then again no harm in trying to distract him with a few other options.

Then shortly after we had everything out and ready the leader and his goons showed back up in their vans prepared to take whatever they might be able to snatch off of us.

"I'm here to claim my prize. I hope you set up some nice offerings!" He said in that wicked and somewhat evil voice of his.

"Ya, we set out a few things for you to choose from, but remember this is a prize, so only one thing," I said, trying to sound intimidating while also trying to not shit myself in pure fear of whatever mafia-like thug this guy was.
