Chapter 008 - 1st DG Raid Pt1 (Edited)
Raido woke up early in the morning because his phone is ringing nonstop. He picks up the phone then answered the call.
"Hello, Dansei-san?" Raido said with a hoarse voice.
"Good morning kid, Are you available right now? we secure a D-rank gate for our guild," Dansei Chunen said.
"I'll be there in an hour," Raido said as he hung up the phone and rub his face to his soft warm pillow. He will miss his bed so much.
"Just prepare your things, I will send a car to pick you up," Dansei informed.
Turns out he didn't hang up after all.
"That's good, see you later," Raido made sure to press end call this time then proceed to do a 10 stretch before he took a bath and waited for the car in front of their house.
This is very surreal, Hunters do have privileges.
'System, do you have a shop?' Raido mentally asked.

While waiting for the car, Raido questions something that keeps bothering him about the system. 'System, can you synchronize to my phone?'

The people who pass by think he is weird because he is having different emotions by himself.

'Sorry P, I've become a hunter so games seem boring to me now,' Raido thought and proceeded to reply to Pico.
- Sorry P, my PC is still broken and I don't have the money to fix it. By the way, I'm a hunter now, you can congratulate me by giving me some gems! -
In just a few seconds he receives a reply.

Pico replied not minding that Raido ghost her for a few days.
- Keeping secrets aren't we? What's your guild name? -

"What!?" Raido exclaimed loudly at the coincidence and failed to reply when the car he is waiting for stops in front of him.
The car's window opened then the driver said, "Welcome to Otokorashī Guild sir, I will drive you to the gates' location. You can sit anywhere you like."
Raido said his thanks but there's barely any conversation while they are driving.
Raido met Pico in the game, the only thing he really knows about him is his name. They get along and always play together. Raido's IGN is ThunderGod. He didn't expect in his wildest dreams that Pico is actually a hunter, a guild master at that.
They arrive in an abandoned school building. A B-rank gate went unnoticed and caused a dungeon breakout that managed to kill 69% of their students.
This caused a massive scandal and the school went bankrupt by paying damages to the students' family.
"Gates really likes this place, maybe I can take my in-laws in here," The driver said with a dark humor.
Raido didn't comment on that shit and went straight outside the car.
Approaching the gate's direction where he saw numerous people. He went to Dansei, the only familiar face in the crowd and said his greetings.
"Oh, Raido it's good that you are here, Here is your team for this raid," Dansei introduces Raido to the team.
A girl with quite a short stature and blonde hair approach Raido then introduces herself, "Good day dude, I'm Pico Noboku this humble guild's master."
'It's really him...her? what?' Raido's mind went all over the place and decided to quickly use Inspect.
