Raido woke up felt pretty lazy because of things that happened yesterday. Two days from today he will officially receive his hunter license but now he doesn't really want to do anything.

"Alright, I'll take a day off, a little vacation from fighting and all," Raido stretches and proceed to morph his Slenderman suit into a white shirt with navy blue jacket and light blue pants.

Reaching the door knob to go outside, His system suddenly prompts him a text from his mom, nothing unusual just updates of their well being and food, food and scenery but yep, mostly food which made Raido's eye twitch.

'Is this what food porn is?' Raido though before going out, 'Now, I'm hungry too...hmm, I wonder if there's any delicious place for fried chicken here.'

Walking around the area, beautiful house wives and teenage girls are whispering when they see him. Not to brag but since Raido got his system and changed his race he gradually transformed into a handsome man with a well-toned body.

Unlike the original protagonist of the series, our blonde guy here is a little less serious and approachable in contrast to Sung Jin-Woo whose personality is cool.

Raido gave a wave to the group of girls, which made them blush deeply and unconsciously look away from him.

'Did I creeped them out,' Raido thought and continued on his way to find the best place selling fried chicken.

The first place he went is called House of Gim, which for his taste sells a so-so fried chicken, not really his cup of tea but it will do when he is lazy and hungry since this place is the nearest from his place.

Then he went to 2nd, 3rd, and finally the 4th place is where he found the taste he's been craving since morning.

The place is called Ichiraku, A stand owned by a Japanese middle aged man and his daughter Ayame. They mostly sell ramen but their fried chicken tastes like home.

"This is awesome, I will never get tired of these noodles, it's literally perfect!" Raido complement as he eat his 3rd bowl of Ramen.

"Haha! Thanks to that kid, Business is quite slow these days because of so many places that opened recently," The middle aged man said as he put another plate of fresh cooked fried chicken on the table, "Here for you in the house!"

"Thanks again! Ohh this is another flavor, quite different from the 4th batch, I see it got its inspiration from the first batch but improve it, I'll never get tired of this taste," Raido gave quite detailed review.

"Moo it's not ready yet father!" Ayame quickly reacted and playfully punched her father which the man replied with just a chuckle.

Raido noticed a tint of red from her face, "It is perhaps your recipe Ayame-chan? I know something is different from this batch."

Ayame nodded and let out a stream of air from her nose, "Heh, but it's not a complete recipe yet I am still in the process of perfecting it."

"For me it's delicious enough though," Raido said as he finished the plate within a minute which made the father and daughter in front of him surprise.

"Take it easy kid, no one's stealing your food," The middle aged man said.

"He eats like he never ate fried chicken and ramen before, not that I am complaining...It's good for business so I guess that's a good thing?" Ayame said with a small chuckle, her gentle eyes have a hit of sparks, she is really happy that her recipe is appreciated.

"Now that I think about it, do you do deliveries here?" Raido questioned without stopping munching his food.

"Hmm, I never thought about that really, well I guess we can deliver fried chicken but there's definitely no way we're delivering our ramen!"

Teuchi, The middle aged man and owner of the stand believes the best way of eating ramen is eating it fresh and he needs to protect his recipe anyway so there's no way that he will let some random customer take out his ramen. Maybe if Raido will be his son in law he will permit it.

"Dad, don't shout at the customer!" Ayame reprimand her with a smack of metal tray before turning to Raido with a closed eye smile and said, "It's really depend on how far, where do you live anyway?"

'Well they can't deliver if they don't know my address so…' Raido thought as he voiced his address and Ayame wrote it down.

After some time of chit chatting the other customers started to come and the stand became crowded and busy.

Raido on the other hand is starting to get full.

"Ahh, that's the stuff," Raido pat his belly in satisfaction, "Hmm?"

"Oh, sorry for staring but are you a hunter perhaps?" One of the customer said as he glance at Raido.

"I guess I am?" Raido said.

'Why are you so unsure?' Ayame thought while cooking. One of the perks of being a stand cook is she can hear gossip too, 'I wonder what rank he is.'

"Aha-ha, " The man drank his soju then continued, "My son is a hunter too! Amazing isn't he?!"

'Why are you already drunk? It's 2pm and you're already drunk, what's wrong with you,' Raido thought but didn't voice out.

"I see so he must be famous then."

"You don't have to be famous to be amazing! He can jump really high! Like wooshooing~ He is also part of white-tiger guild!" The drunk man said.

He is laughing and beaming with pride but in his eyes there's a noticeable grief which makes Raido guess that there's something wrong.

After a few hours of bragging the man finally got drunk enough to fall asleep. Raido just let the man told his stories and drink his sake. If he is old enough to kill monsters he is old enough to drink alcohol.

Raido is not really a drinker, In fact this is the first time he drank alcohol but for some reason he just found himself drinking with the man and sharing a couple laughs.

'He is not used to drinking huh,' Raido thought as another man approached him.

"Thanks for listening to him kid," The man looked down, "He lost his son yesterday in the red gate accident…"

The man sit on the left side of Raido then continued.

"I see, it's not too hard to guess with sad laughs."

"Mo Hwan is a great kid, when he got Awaken he promised his father everything, a house, a car, a lavish lifestyle…well, he is a B-rank so he can really afford all of those. What a foolish kid…."

The man slowly shakes his head with disappointment.

"Well, I need to drive this knucklehead home," The man said as he lifted his friend to the car.

Raido smiled at the man and nodded.

Paying for his meals and saying his farewells to Ayame and Teuchi, Raido quickly went to the place of the accident.

It's a really grim story but this is what hunters face everyday and the fact that only one person survived in that accident makes this a turning point to whoever that sole survivor is.

With a fleeting figure of Raido, Teuchi gentle but brash voice entered Ayame's ear "You like him huh, Ayame?"

Ayame quickly turned to Teuchi with slightly pink cheeks only to find Teuchi said with a smug grin.

That day Teuchi discovered how many metal trays he can receive before fainting.
