Guild Assault

Symphony backed off, realizing the ffect wouldn't work. The portals fizzled out as Rook gave off a creepy smile.

"Yui, just forget her and love me! I'll kill anyone that tries to touch you. Just grovel and beg to be mine!"

Justice quickly shifted her feet, moving in between the two of them. As Rook began to advance, she slammed her shoulder against his chestplate. To her surprise, it caved in slightly.

[Chosen secondary effect has activated. Admin is not strong enough to handle the target. The target level exceeds 70. Admin has the chance to leave, deactivating Chosen. The chosen secondary effect, Gear Alter, is available for a single piece of gear. Gear will be altered to be on par with the target.]

"Hehe. Still works-"

Before Justice could say anything, Rook grabbed her by her hair and ripped her from the ground. She was tossed away, crumbling to the ground like a doll. Her eyes were unfocused as she saw Symphony running game towards her, only to get caught by Rook.

"Let her... go!"

[Chosen final effect has been activated. Due to the power of your emotions, Vengeance King will be permitted.

Vengeance King: You become a demon filled with the desire for Vengeance. All enemies you strike gain a 90% debuff to all stats as long as they are the cause of your rage.]

Getting to her feet, a dark aura oozed from Justice's body. Her eyes gleamed as she glared at Rook. One foot forward, her body launched in his direction. She quickly grabbed his arm, ramming her knee into it. Symphony fell to the ground as Rook fell back from the incredible amount of pain. His arm was broken and useless now.

"Guess it's come to this."

Symphony aimed her gun at the ground, firing a strange portal into it as she jumped backwards. A large group of people began to appear, each and every one seeming to be quite strong. A man, probably in his thirties, stepped towards Symphony.

"Hey leader."

"Cut the crap. What's happening that made you use a Summon All? What if we were busy?"

Symphony obviously looked terrible, dealing with Bugs and now Rook. Her guild leader didn't process it at first, but now he focused and could only sigh.

"Everyone. Kill it."

Archers and mages began to prepare attacks as other classes prepared support spells or even tonics. The tanks buffed up, while the attackers drew their weapons. Before Symphony could stop them, they all had their eyes on the demon striking Rook over and over.

"Attack."

The leader pointed a long spear towards Mina, though as the arrows and spells were slung, she dashed around behind Rook. Quickly grabbing his arms and slamming her feet into the back of his knees, Rook hit the ground. Unable to stand, every attack hit him. His health, unable to be seen, was chipped away drastically as the attacks didn't end.

"Halt. Tanks prepare to shield. Bugs are surely prepared to counter."

Justice panted softly, slamming her feet into Rook's back as the smoke cleared. Even with her body completely hidden behind his, certain skills and spells still made contact. She wobbled for a moment before falling to her knees. Her eyes fell on Symphony, the automaton quickly running towards her. Sliding down on her knees, Symphony placed her gun against Justice's chest.

"Hey, look at me. You did seriously amazing despite all those attacks."

A green burst shot from the gun, quickly repairing Justice's body. She smiled at Symphony, leaning her head against the latter's shoulder.

"It hurt. Did you know, my pain sensor is broken. I feel everything."

Symphony looked back as her guild leader began to approach. He had a look of complete rage on his face.

"You call us here to kill it, just to heal it afterwards?! Are you daft you stupid bitch!? Why the hell are you wasting my time?!"

He raised his hand in an attempt to strike Symphony, but Justice grabbed his arm. She glared at him, her eyes still gleaming.

"Don't you dare touch her. She healed me because you and your people attacked the wrong person!"

"I never make mistakes, but a Bug that can charm as well as speak? Strange."

The man attempted to pull his arm away, but Justice slammed him into the ground.

"So all of your Good affinity people are now Neutral. You attacked me, so I'm in my right to strike back."

Symphony grabbed Justice by her waist, her body noticeably trembling.

"J-Justice. He's gone!"

Justice looked up, her aura fading as she stomped on the ground.

"Dammit. Don't worry, you're at my house. I made sure all the doors were locked, plus the windows. My auto release is ready in case someone breaks in. These helmets are well equipped."

Symphony seemed to calm down, but she didn't stop hugging Justice.

"What now? With Rook running off, we can't exactly get out of the game unless... wait a minute. Mai!"

[Tracking Bug Player Rook...

Logged out. Please be prepared in your world.]

"He logged out."

"So what the hell is going on?!"

Justice looked down at Symphony's guild leader, releasing him so that he could stand.

"Rook was killed by a Bug yesterday. For some reason, he became one as well. I'm pretty sure it's because he's jealous of my relationship with Sym."

"Your relationship? Symphony doesn't get close to people."

He looked at the two of them, his eyes wide as he realized how intimate they looked.

"W-we're dating... IRL. Very recent, but I'm not changing my mind."

Justice reached up and rubbed Symphony's head.

"Hmm. I didn't expect your taste to run that way, honestly I thought you would be pure to everyone's eyes for a longer time. For my earlier transgressions, I ask for forgiveness. For your relationship, I pray for its fortune."

He bowed slightly.

"Justice, this is Wold. He's my guild leader, and a complete Samurai. Though his gear isn't really... looking the part anymore. Say, wanna go get something to eat? Probably hungry IRL."

Justice saw everyone hop into the massive portal that Symphony was leading her to.

"This is gonna take us to the HQ now. Summon All is a skill given to the leader and vice leaders."

The girls fell into the portal, appearing in a specious bedroom.

"My room. It's a bit girly, but we aren't staying. Let's log out!"

Symphony suddenly became particles as Justice could only cover her face.

"I'm completely in love with this girl."
