Sorry for the notification, but I'd like to discuss something a lot of people have been complaining about for good reason.
Why did Diluc wish for Izuku to get a quirk?
To begin with, I made this decision for multiple reasons, the main two being that it shows that Diluc cares for Izuku as well as making it easier in the future to quell sotry events like the infiltration of USJ.
However, I wrote that chapter a couple of weeks ago. That was before I heard of Izuku getting multiple quirks through One for All.
Also, I heard some people ask why he'd give Izuku a quirk and not Momo or Himiko. One, it need not be said that he cares for them like I felt I should emphasize with Izuku and secondly, they'll always be in close proximity with Diluc anyway, so they'l be safe regardless.
Another structural problem I've found with this novel is that because of his quirk awakening too early or having Diluc reincarnate as a child, it would be weird if we just skipped to near canon only to have him with no experience in Dark Souls and such even though his quirk was already awakened.
That's why I felt I should just have mutiple time skips but it also comes with a weird reading experience. Many readers have said that a lot of the novel sounds like a summary, which it is becuase of the constant time skips.
This is why for 'Eye System in RWBY' I changed the method of reincarnation.
Anyway, I just wanted to discuss some flaws I've found with this book. Have a good day everyone!
