Nicholas Pov:
I look back at my beautiful wife. She has our 1-year-old in her arms and our 2-year-old walking next to her. I walk up to her and give her a quick kiss. It's been 5 years since the accident. I've been cancer-free for 4 years and Virginia and I got married a year later. After we got married, I started my job again as a football star and Virginia continued working at the hospital. Then a year after the wedding we had our son, Oliver. Then one year after Oliver we had our daughter, Charlotte. I'll admit, It has been a busy few years but I wouldn't want it any other way. We buckle our kids in the car and head to Isabella's house for a 4th of July barbeque. Once we get out of the car and get the kids, we head around the house to the backyard. "Hey bells," Virginia says, giving her a hug. "Hey, Ginny, hey Nicholas," she says waving us over. I give her a side hug and set Oliver down. He starts running around the backyard, chasing Isabella's dog, Coco. Virginia and Isabella go to the kitchen to fix the snacks while I grill. A few hours later, there's a whole bunch of people here and all the food is done. The kids and I lounge on the beach chairs while Virginia talks to Isabella. Everyone is eating and swimming around in her pool. Once the sunsets, Everyone grabs a sparkler and lights it (except the kids because they are too little). Once the sparklers go out, the fireworks shoot into the sky, one by one. Virginia walks over and picks up charlotte and I carry Oliver on my shoulders. We point to the fireworks and ooh and aah at them. After the fireworks, we head home and put the kids in bed. Then we lay down and go to sleep.
THE END!
