Usually it is Naruto talking about his dreams and whatever that is interesting to him. This was the few times that he asked him back a question.
"Dream?" Sasuke looked up at the open blue sky with clouds slowly floating by. Very peaceful.
Since he came to this new world he had forgotten about the dreams he used to have on Earth. Most worries for people are not of issue for him.
At first he had a hard time getting used to his new situation. Eventually he find himself loving the peacefulness of this village. Wishing to help preserve the culture that exist here.
"If I can I want make many new friends and bring happiness to the people I care about," Sasuke said to Naruto with a smile on his face reflecting upon the dreamy future ahead.
"That's what I'm talking about!" Naruto placed his arms around Sasuke shouting in joy, "No wonder we are best buddies. You even have the same dream as me Sasuke-kun hehehe."
"What are you talking about Naruto?" Sasuke grinned, "I thought your dream was to be a hokage?"
"Haha don't pick on the small stuff," said Naruto smiling.
When they arrived by the lake Naruto and Sasuke quickly set things up for some fishing.
By the evening time as the sun was beginning to set Sasuke started a fire to cook the fishes they caught. It was a really peaceful day with the time passing away really quick as they chat about childhood, school, and everything in between.
There were so many similar connections between the two of them that they never ran out of things to talk about.
"Hey Sasuke-kun do you like Sakura?" Naruto asked between a bite of fish meat. He looks like a chubby squirrel with his cheeks full from the fish meat.
Sasuke stopped his eating to reflect upon that girl who's always by his side, "I don't really know her that well. At most we could be friends."
"Hmmm I see," Naruto turned quiet as he considers Sasuke's answer.
Sasuke knows full well just how much Sakura seems to have a crush on him. In class she's always trying to get close to him. These days she's even bringing him gifts.
Because Naruto had always placed his focus on Sakura throughout the series he never noticed Hinata by the sideline.
"Naruto do you know there's a person close to you who always cared about you," Sakura said to his buddy.
Naruto looked at him weirdly scooting backward to avoid him, "Hey buddy I know we're are good friends but I'm not into that kind of thing.
Hearing this Sasuke's face blackens. Using his knuckles to knock on Naruto's head creating a small bump on his head.
"Ouch what did you hit me for," asked Naruto while clutching his head pitifully.
Taking a deep breathe in Sasuke explained, "Idiot I was talking about Hinata from our class."
"Hinata!" Naruto really didn't expect there was a girl that liked him. "No way that can't be."
"Don't notice Hinata looking over at our table all the time," Sasuke saids to Naruto to prove his point. "And she always blushes when she tries to talk to you."
[New Mission Issued]
'Hm a new mission?' Sasuke who was eating the barbecued fish opened the interface to check out what mission was issued from the system.
[Sasuke the Matchmaker: Help Naruto realize Hinata's feelings for him. Reward: 100 points. Timeline: 1 week]
[Accept][Decline]
Sasuke considered for a moment whether to take this strange mission. Realizing that there's not much difficulty he chose to accept the mission.
"Naruto can you do me a favor?" Sasuke asked Naruto who's right next to him.
Moving his body close he started whispering something into Naruto's ear. "That's the favor? No problem count on me!" Naruto answered with his usual confidence.
….
A couple days has passed since Naruto and Sasuke spent the day fishing together. During this period Hinata had notice some changes to Naruto.'s behaviors
She had noticed that eversince Naruto became friends with Sasuke he has stopped being late to class. Also he didn't go and cause more trouble for the town folks.
But the strangest thing of all is that these days Naruto started approaching her to tell her funny jokes. At first she was still not used to talking to Naruto. Eventually she came some steps away from her shell.
This morning as she sat down on her desk Hinata discovered a strange note left on the storage under his desk which she carefully took out to read over:
"Meet me at the back of the academy at the end of school today—Sasuke Uchiha"
Nervously Hinata peeked over to where Sasuke usually sits. She sees Sasuke who was having a good laugh with Naruto looked over with a smile and nodded at her.
Nervously Hinata's face turned beet red as she looked downwards in embarrassment. In her heart she wondered what Sasuke is going to tell her.
….
The sky was in a tint of orange as the clouds across the land was showing signs of darkness. The yellow sun was about to hide itself behind one of the large green mountains from afar.
Sasuke who was waiting for somebody leaned against the wall watching the slowing sunset. The green trees where singing and dancing with the wind.
He hear steps approaching by his side. Hinata with her head down shyly approached Sasuke.
"Sasuke-k-kun you wanted to se me," her voice was really quiet. With those large pair of white colored eyes looking at him.
"I'll just get to the point. Do you like Naruto?" Sasuke asked as thought it was just another casual. His eyes were still watching afar if he was to look directly at Hinata it might be too presuring for her.
"I-I…Umm," Hinata was hesitant to admit her feelings. As she fidgets with the corner of her coat steam bubbles from her head from embarrassment.
"I only wanted to ask you because Naruto is my good friend," Sasuke said cooly, "if you don't then I'll just pretend nothing happened today."
Biting her lips a little she opened her mouth to speak, "I..I like Naruto-kun…He is really kind and caring to me."
From watching the anime Sasuke has always thought that it would be better if the two formed a relationship early on. He also know just how precious Naruto is to her.
To Hinata, Naruto is like a beacon of like in darkness which encourages her to grow ever the more stronger.
"Say it louder I can't hear you," Sasuke teased.
"I love Naruto-kun," this time she stopped being as shy speaking directly to Sasuke. Her eyes showing a bit more firmness and conviction than before.
"Even louder! Don't be afraid to admit it to this whole world," Sasuke encourages her further.
"I LOVE NARUTO-KUN!!!" Her voice was so loud it resounded still throughout the area. After hearing her own confession Hinata turned even more embarrassed wanting the Earth to open up and swallow her.
