Oppression that Gives them light.

Andriy was still rooted to his spot. He was holding his friend in his arms, ready to pull him off any second now, but the damage had already been done. His friend was lying on the ground, with an expression of horror on his face. HE did not die a peaceful death.

Alex stood there, wet with all the blood that spurted out. His mentor used to ask a question to him frequently while showing him pictures of his victims. He asked, "Death was such a simple thing, yet why was it so terrifying?". He had to act out this part of life, a kid that just did a simple thing that had completely terrified him.

His legs were shaking, Ivan had a shocked expression on his face, Alice and Zira froze on the outside, but from the inside, all of them were proud of their young master.

Alex had completed the mission. From now on, It was going to be a simple task.

"Why did you have to do this? You don't understand kid, but what you just did will be even more harmful to your family than what has already happened! What will you four do now?"

Alex was still pretending to be in shock. The other siblings however snapped out of their stupor and went straight on their knees, begging in front of Andriy.

"Please don't do anything to him! You can take all our lives, but please let him live!"

Alice said in a hoarse voice. Her voice modulation skills were top-notch, so this was an easy task for her.

All of them continued to kneel in front of Andriy, a 53-year-old man who was only ever interested in providing justice to people like the ones kneeling in front of him. Seeing that not only were they fearful, but they had no hope and were willing to sacrifice everything for the safety of an adopted sibling, at the same time not believing even one percent that he was going to help them, but still begging for his life.

Alex was already kneeling, looking at his own hands. He really needed to sell this part, make Andriy feel that all his purpose in life had been wrong this entire time.

He then looked straight at Andriy, with a look that could send shivers down the spines of the bravest of men. It was rage, confusion, helplessness, and conviction.

"I'd rather die by the hands of someone due to my mistakes, then be killed by a person who wants to play god."

Alex didn't look like a kid anymore. He wasn't a man, but a ten-year-old kid who resembled a man that had finally matured.

"Is this what my country is supposed to be?"

Andriy looked down towards the ground. He was done with this life. This was the end for him. He wanted to change his country for the good, but where did that get him? In a room in which in his arms lay down his comrade, who turned out to be as malicious as they come, while he was killed by what was supposed to be this country's future, it's youth. The very same youth that might not live to see the dawn of tomorrow, why? All because he wanted to live happily with his newfound family, and one person disagreed. The Reality was often cruel enough to beat a person up while applying salt on the wounds simultaneously.

"It would be better if the rebellion is disbanded."

He said that and left the room. He was going to give this base back to the government with his own hands.

"Well done everyone. Now it's time for the finishing touches."

Alice and Zira immediately started to do some planting and cleaning. They successfully planted the samples of the Drug and the hormonal supplement and retrieved the strips from his body as fast as possible. Then, a few of the family members came in and escorted them back to their residence. Andriy had already contacted the government about the events, and so everything fell perfectly in its place.

As soon as the government officials arrived, they had a serious expression on their faces. But from the inside, they were all giggling, mainly because of the good news that they had received before.

"The Rebellion has been disbanded."

This was all that Andriy said when he communicated with the government. He was tired of all of this and wanted to go back to the place where he could spend the rest of his life being a normal person.

Everyone else was shocked when he informed them of this statement, but they finally understood when they got to know about the previous incident. All of them were disgusted at the fact that he was the person they chose to follow, and god only knows how many people had already been victim to his predatory urges.

In this situation, the Government came in a form of oppression, that gave them light. They gave up their freedom easily because all of them had already been followers, including Andriy. They had no business leading men to their deaths because of greed, and being soldiers that respected whom they protected, they respected that.

After complete interrogation about the incident was done, and the report was published for the world to see, Alex and his family vanished. Everyone tried to question the government, but all of them received a vague response, implying that they were not safe, hence they were being protected by the government. All of them hesitated at first, but in the end, they all accepted that it was the safest option for them. They only had the government left to trust now, however little that trust might be.

Alex Melnik. He had been given this name by the government in the official report. The kid who killed a general, and brought his despotic rule to an end. Everyone had this name in their heart as the kid who represented what justice was supposed to be when first announced.

Alex was lazing around back in his mansion. This mission had been mentally taxing, so he decided to take a day off from everything.

He also needed to see what rewards he got, so it was a perfect time to take a break and calculate his gains.

On the other hand, all of the major families went into a major panic.
