Reading Through The Moves.

The next day...

Lucius was waiting for Alex on the ground. Although Clara had declared that he would be resting for at least one more month, The recovery that Alex showed had made her change that decision. He was completely healthy, which gave him a chance to get back to training as soon as possible.

"You okay?"

Claudia, who was also here for some training, asked Alex with a worried expression. She had seen the state that he had been in previously, as well as the bloodlust he had shown when he attacked her mother. His eyes were dead, and his attack was so precise, he could have killed Clara without even her noticing. Fortunately, he didn't.

"I am fine. Thank you for asking, and sorry for the previous incident."

Alex smiled at her. He was still a child, but for some reason, She blushed.

"You kids are done with your chit-chat?"

Wei was standing along with Lucius, looking at them with condescending eyes. He didn't understand why they were wasting their time talking.

"Just a minute. I want to ask you a question."

Alex walked towards him and smiled. He still had to get his revenge.

Understanding his intention, Wei looked down at him. He said,

"Ask away. But make it quick, or else I will have to put you back into the bed like last time."

Alex chuckled. This guy was very dangerous, so his data was probably really beneficial for training. Time to instigate tension.

"Black Blood."

Intense pressure started emanating from his body. Sensing the bloodlust, Wei unconsciously stepped back. Lucius stood there, his jaw dropped. He had seen Alex show bloodlust before, but never to this extent. Somehow, he was able to control his body in this state, which was too bizarre.

'Is this the technique that led to all of those tantrums?'

You can't actually describe what Bloodlust is. The most simple explanation of its existence is proved by the fear that you experience due to your opponent's intent to kill. So, the user can't experience all the bloodlust, and you might lose yourself if you try to indulge in it too much.

Claudia was looking at him and felt her whole body shudder. Usually, you can only feel bloodlust at its intended volume when it is completely directed towards you, but everyone was feeling the same amount of bloodlust in the ground, meaning that they all were actually fearful of Alex at this point. He intended to kill all of them.

He suddenly returned to normal, with a smile on his face. Everyone around him was still frozen due to surprise, and Alex approached even closer to Wei, looking straight into his eyes. Wei took a step back again, raising his stick in defense. Alex Laughed at this behavior, and said,

"Remember this next time you try to do something that shameless to me. Otherwise, if you intend to do that to me again, you better finish me off. I won't try to kill till the time I am strong enough to beat you, but I can assure you, I am very patient."

He was looking at Wei, and sweat was already trickling down his forehead.

Black blood had been upgraded, and in a way which allowed him to maintain his bloodlust state, but only to scare his opponent. It didn't actually provide him any combat benefits, and the extreme fatalities condition was still applicable when he needed combat power.

No more holding back.

"Master, shall we start?"

Alex turned his head and looked at Lucius. he had regained his composure, and nodded.

"Do you mind if I start first?"

Alex requested. He wanted to see how much he had learned from sparring with the illusion made by the system.

"Do what you want. Just try to land a hit."

Alex attacked. He aimed at Lucius at his strong spot, his left arm with his right fist.

"What happened kid? Have you forgotten what I taught you?"

Lucius decided to block it, but Alex had an ace up his sleeve. He grabbed his arm and used it to swing himself to gain momentum.

Lucius, recognizing his intent, was not ready for this. Nonetheless, he used his other arm to grab him and separate him from his strong arm, but as it turns out, Alex had already made a counter for that.

Alex had already initiated his attack, and the only thing between him and Lucius was his other arm. Since it was his non-dominant arm, Alex decided to use his other arm to hit him in his face. Lucius, smiling at this mistake, decided to take this attack. What could his punch actually do?

Alex changed the direction of his punch and aimed it at his neck. Lucius, who was confident that he could block it from anywhere, chose to continue with his strategy. He trusted his arm upwards and perfectly calculated the trajectory. The block was certainly going to stop his attack.

"Blindspot."

Alex used this opportunity to change his attack. If a punch won't hurt his face, and elbow would, right?

The attack hit. Wei was actually frowning, and Claudia couldn't keep in her excitement. She shrieked.

Lucius was proud. This attack wouldn't have hit if Alex had not been properly studying him, and his moves. He could not have done it without diligently observing Lucius, which was the best gift he could get as his teacher.

Blood oozed from his nose. The pain was minimal, but he cherished this feeling.

"Blindspot."

Lucius said this and hugged Alex as hard as he could without breaking him. Alex was in deep pain, but he was smiling. He had finally hit Lucius.

He released Alex and clapped. Alex, who had fallen on the ground, was still in pain, but the smile was still shining brightly.

"Well done. Your combat skills have had a huge breakthrough."

Wei was still frowning. That was Lucius. He was one of the leaders who was feared by even the leaders of several hegemonies. Getting a hit on him was no joke. This kid was too good for his own good.

"I can't allow this news to spread outside. This will only lead to more turmoil for the kid."

He looked at Claudia and decided to have a serious talk with her afterward.

Unknown to him, Claudia had only come to the ground to accomplish one mission given to her by Sylvia, which was to record his activities for today.

'I can't wait to give her this.'

With a hidden camera on her skirt, she was ready to complete her mission.
