Some Analysis.

"What do you think?"

Alex was on the ground, looking at the two mirages in front of him.

"This is going to be amazing."

Sylvia and Lucius. Ready to face off.

"What is the catch?"

"Nothing. In the case of Mirages, I can create as many as I want. But controlling them can be a tough task."

He stood up and approached the mirages.

"How accurate are these copies?"

"Their specs are on point. But their fighting style might be a bit basic."

"What do you mean by basic?"

Alex didn't understand. He had fought with Sylvia's mirage, and she was way stronger than him.

"In the end, these are just copies. I observe their specs during combat and use that as a reference point. Unfortunately for us, we haven't actually seen them at their best combat capabilities. The fights were short, so the data is not completely accurate."

"So what do their styles actually represent?"

The mirage of Sylvia approached them.

"In the case of Sylvia, I have enough data. She isn't perfect, but she is the person you have spent the most time with. She held back in most of these fights. Using the data I got from her fight with Wei, I have a better grasp on her fighting style."

The Mirage based on Lucius stepped forward.

"As for him, this was tricky. It was like a brain teaser for me, and I enjoyed solving the problem."

They both turned towards each other, and Sylvia attacked first.

"His specs were better than Sylvia's, but there was not enough data to form a complete skillset. So I fused some of your and Sylvia's fighting styles into him. In terms of battle, he is far superior to the both of you."

Lucius dodged her strike and countered it with a kick, and it was identical to Lucius in real life. Although, there was a sense of difference in his movement. His actions were more polished, like Sylvia's.

"Can you actually reproduce a brain?"

The system was capable of gathering data and making such simulations. Can it actually reproduce consciousness?

"You think too highly of me. Reproducing consciousness is almost impossible."

Alex frowned.

"Almost?"

"Well, I need data and action points to survive. For that sole reason, my consciousness exists. I would lose my awareness without a purpose. I can create sentient organisms if I have a way to instill awareness of purpose in them. It would take years of unwavering attention to pull that off, and I can't survive without AP for that long."

Alex nodded.

"Understood."

Sylvia and Lucius were still fighting. Sylvia was struggling to hold Lucius back, who was exploiting her weakness in terms of speed.

"Also, consciousness makes an organism unpredictable. You can predict what my mirages will do next if you have enough data."

Lucius managed to find a gap and grabbed Sylvia's neck.

"But in terms of a sentient organism, there is always a 50/50 chance. Half that it would follow its routine, half that it would deviate from its usual actions."

She snapped her fingers, and Lucius let go of Sylvia. He had won this match.

"This all sounds profound."

System smiled, but only for a moment.

"Someone is here."

Alex opened his eyes. He found himself back in the cell.

"Stop staring at me."

The guard looked at him and said,

"Your food is here."

He opened the cell and entered inside.

"I am surprised. You know how to speak English."

Except for Zhao Lei, everyone else had been speaking in Chinese.

The man didn't respond. He placed the bowl of soup on the ground and a white Changshan.

He said,

"Put it on and finish this."

He stepped out of the cell and closed it. He stood in front of the cell and kept staring at Alex.

Alex looked at him and said,

'System, let's play a game.'

He got up from the ground and took the dress first. While he was busy wearing it, he faintly said,

"4...3...2...1."

The man blinked. Alex was standing in front of him in a suit.

"What?"

He blinked again, and it was back to normal.

"Is there a ghost behind me?"

Alex looked at him and asked. He was wearing his Changshan.

"N-Nothing."

Weird. He continued to stare at Alex.

Alex walked towards the soup bowl and picked it up. He decided to drink all of it in one go.

He slowly placed the bowl on the ground. Once again, the count down began.

"4...3...2...1."

The guard blinked once again. This time, Alex was in his combat suit, aiming his gun at him.

His hand went straight for his Jian. He panicked and blinked once again.

Alex was back on the ground, with his eyes closed.

"I am done with my food. You can take the bowl out."

The fighter rushed inside the cell. He looked around to search for anything suspicious. There was nothing.

He looked at Alex, who was lying on the ground with his eyes closed.

He was extremely unnerved, but he didn't find anything suspicious. He picked up the bowl and left.

Alex revealed a slight grin on his face.

'It actually worked.'
