Jin Arrives.

"You are here again?"

Yesterday, Mei had handed Alex the training manual. She left, and he continued training inside the system space. Now, she was once again in front of his cell, waiting for him to wake up.

"Elder brother is waiting for you. If he didn't ask, I wouldn't have come here."

"Elder brother? Is Mr. Lei not going to be making an appearance?"

She opened the door to the cell.

"Less talking, More walking."

He picked himself up. As they both walked out of the cell, Alex asked,

"Does everyone in this place only drink soup?"

"No. That soup is made for you."

"Why?"

"Because you are taking a shortcut. Usually, you have to train for years to complete the basic training. That soup is something that is reserved for the head candidates. Instead of complaining about it, appreciate it."

He sighed. He knew that it was nutritional, but it still tasted like grass.

They arrived at the training hall. A familiar face was waiting for him.

"Long time no see."

Alex was the first one to speak. Jin walked towards him and gave him a big hug.

Alex was startled by this gesture.

"What are you doing?"

Jin didn't leave him. He said,

"You made it."

He let go of Alex. Mei stared at the both of them awkwardly, and Alex shared her sentiment.

"The last time I saw you, you were on course to be disowned. Glad everything worked out."

Alex had made quite an impression on Jin, so much so that Jin was actively interested in his missions. He believed that he could learn a lot about dealing with people on the outside from him.

"It did."

He looked at Jin, and it was apparent that he had improved a lot.

"I will take my leave."

Mei didn't want to disturb the two of them. She had her training to get back to.

"Did you read the manual?"

Alex looked back at Jin.

"I did. It all seems to focus on improving my body."

The contents of the book genuinely baffled him at times. In one exercise, he had to balance his entire body on a single toe while stretching the other leg upwards towards his leg. He tried doing it inside the system, and he failed miserably. He just wasn't flexible enough.

"The basis of training in the Zhao family is to focus on the body first. Techniques play a huge part in this. Out of the traditional Chinese fighting techniques, are there any you are familiar with?"

"I trained in Wing Chun."

Alex responded.

"Self-taught or with an actual master?"

"Self-taught."

Jin took out a small book from his pocket and said,

"We have a lot of work to do."

Jin aimed to retrain Alex in Wing Chun and add one more substyle for him to train him.

"We will go through Wing Chun once again. That will work as the basis for strengthening your body. Also, we will learn a new sub-style in the next few months to promote flexibility and speed. Hou Quan feels better for your body."

He started to note all his words down.

"First, Wing Chun."

"Siu Nim Tau."

Alex took the basic stance.

"Nice form."

Jin was impressed. For a self-taught technique, Alex had trained his form well.

"Breathing is extremely important."

As Alex moved, Jin continuously made adjustments in his body.

"Try to remember these adjustments."

"Chum Kiu."

Alex started to move around according to the form.

His movements were accurate, but they were rough. Jin had to correct him several times to make sure that he executes the form correctly.

"Learn from your mistakes. You seem to know the moves, but your form is rigid."

"Biu Jee."

Strong finger thrusts, aiming to develop power in short distances. Followed by a circling stance in the air against an imaginary enemy. Counterattacking stances and short and long-ranged attacks for the arms and legs.

"Needs work."

He almost stumbled at times with his footwork, and his movement was extremely awkward.

All of this took 9 minutes.

"How about it?"

Alex thought that he had done pretty well.

"We will focus on the forms for an entire week. Let's try to perfect them. Give me your manual."

Alex handed the manual over to him.

He took his pencil and marked the pages.

"4 exercises, two times a day."

"You called?"

"I need you to take Kane and Megan for training outside. They lack experience, and it would be better for them to train with you."

Ronald had completed both of their basic training. They needed the experience to progress further. With all the work on his head, he decided to delegate their training to his other children, Lucas and Liam.

"Gladly. Are they any good?"

"Megan is fearless and rash, and Kane has some issues to get over."

"Liam, what do you think?"

Lucas looked at his elder brother and asked.

"Give me the phone."

Liam took the phone from his father and asked,

"We will do it. It was getting boring here anyway."

"Great. I will send them there."

Liam hung up. They were both on a skyscraper in Dubai, just chilling out.

"You really up for babysitting?"

Liam handed the phone back to him and said,

"Why not?"

"Well, considering how you treated the one after us, I thought that you found kids like them annoying."

"I don't find kids annoying. I find weaklings useless. He was not worthy of our name."

"He is doing quite well for himself."

"Whatever. He is only able to fool everyone because of our mother."

He sat on the sofa and closed his eyes.

"What about him?"

A man with a hole in his head was seated at his side.

"Call the client. The mission is complete."
