DECEMBER 10TH 1941

James finished building the time capsule, he has also put together his most cherished memories. James and Elizabeth are heading to Golden Gate park to meet with Joseph, Joanne, Danny, and Rose. James and Elizabeth arrive first at Golden Gate park. They pick a seclude area to bury the time capsule. Danny and Rose are next to arrive followed by Joseph and Joanne. James, Joseph, and Danny begin to dig a hole to bury the time capsule, when that is finished each person will put their memories inside the time capsule.

Jame, Joseph and Danny finished digging the hole, now it is time for the six friends to pit their most cherish belongings inside the time capsule. James and Elizabeth are the first to put their most precious belongings into the time capsule. James puts in his father's vintage sun daily watch, high school year book, pictures of his parents, and pictures of him and Elizabeth. Elizabeth puts in old photos of San Francisco, china dolls, pictures of her parents and sister, classical books, and photos of herself and James.

Joseph and Joanne are next to put their most precious belongings in the time capsule. Joseph puts in his fathers 1931 vintage watch, photos of some of the greatest baseball players like Grover Cleveland "Old Pete" Alexander, Jimmie Foxx, Mel Ott, Eddie Collins, Babe Ruth, Christy Mathewson, Lou Gehrig, and Pictures of his parents and brothers. Joanne puts in letters she has written to her descendants, pictures of her home, the park, malls, restaurants, cars, catalogs of vintage dresses and hair styles, and photos of her parents sister, and brother.

Danny and Rose are the last to put their most precious belongings into the time capsule. Danny puts in old records, retro sunglasses, old toys, photos of his parents and two sisters. Rose puts in posters of her favorite movie stars of the decade, porcelain dolls, vintage paper, books, and photos of her parents, and brother.

James, Elizabeth, Joseph, Joanne, Danny and Rose also put in the time capsule photos of the six of them at the beach, the drive-in, during the holiday's, and the six of them as couples.

Inside an envelope are letters written by James, Elizabeth, Joseph, Joanne, Danny, and Rose to their future descendants about life during prewar America.

James, Joseph, and Danny make a promise to Elizabeth, Joanne, and Rose to survive the war, and they promised each other to write down their experiences about life in America during the war and about life on the battlefield. When they return home they will reopen the time capsule and put the letters, all the letters inside the time capsule, along with other letters written to their future descendants about life in war time America.

The time capsule will not be opened until December 7th 2041, the one hundred year anniversary of the Pearl Harbor attack.
