The Battle for Fort Illia Part 1

Hugo woke up in a resting bed and sat up, panting. He looked around and grunted softly. He saw a young girl healing the Holy Order members who were deployed at thw fort. She turned towards Hugo and smiled.

"You're awake!" She said.

"And it's about damn time you did...you're even lucky we found you on time." A man said putting out his cigarette.

"Aww Mr. Siegfried, no need to be like that!" The girl smiled.

"Hmph..truth be told, Kudan tried to kill you. He has no side to choose from he just wants more power. He wasn't always like this, well he was but not in this stage." Siegfried said.

"Where are those backstabbers?" Hugo asked.

"Headed over to Fort Illia as we speak." Siegfried said.

My army and I rode our horses towards Fort Illia. Izumi was reading the data and nodded.

"There are Three Holy Order commanders at Fort Illia. We may need extra support in this battle." Izumi said.

"I'll contact Semilia, Fornus, and Adriesta." I said then contacted them.

"Queen Lina of Semilia on the line." Queen Lina said.

"King Lloyd at your command, what do you need." King Lloyd said.

"Yes?" Adriesta answered.

"We need you three at Fort Illia stat!" I said.

"On my way!" Lina said.

"As you wish." Lloyd hung up.

"On my way." Adriesta said then hung up.

Kotome looked ahead and thought about Zekuu. It still bothered her that her own fiance would betray the land that took him in. She shook her head and focused on the battle coming ahead. I stopped my horse and the others stopped. I got off my horse and my Anklets and Gauntlets appeared on my person. The Holy Order ran out the fort. I walked faster then dashed towards the Holy Order. They charged at me. I dodged the first attack and grabbed the knight's neck and threw them against another knight. One knight jumped and slashed down. I palmed his helmet and blew him away. Saya got off her horse and dashed into battle.

"I'm not letting you have all the fun!" Saya said.

"Don't get in my way." I said.

"Heh..you don't get in mine!" Saya said.

We took on multiple knights and took most of them down. Saya slid under a knight's leg then got on his back and wrapped her legs around her.

"Get off of me!" The Knight bellowed.

Saya twirled her dagger then stabbed her on her left tit. The Knight yelled in pain and Saya stabbed her 6 times then took her dagger out her body and got off her. Siegfried walked out and saw me and Saya. He dashed to us and slashed. Kotome blocked the attack and looked at Siegfried.

"Kotome.." He said.

"Captain." Kotome glared.

They jumped back then got in their stances. Izumi rode on her horse and a Sniper took down her horse. Izumi jumped off her horse and split her bow in two, making two daggers. She threw a dagger directly at the sniper's head and dashed off.

"Sir! We have a Sniper/Assassin class!" A knight said.

"A rare combination.." Siegfried said. "Take her down! I have my own target."

I ran inside the fort and summoned Seven Suns and slashed through the knights. Kielazar and Victoria followed me. Gloria manipulated time so multiple versions of her appeared. Her copies took on the knights that was flanking her and Miyuna. Miyuna summoned her star and ice spikes at the Knights.

"I guess I'll do some fighting.." Lelita said then walked ahead and raised her arms as two water dragons emerged from the river.

"Ah hell nah.." One knight said.

"We're dead aren't we?" Another knight said.

"Nope!" Hugo shot a magic bullet at Lelita.

"Oop!" Lelita turned into a puddle of water and traversed towards the two knights and emerged above ground and grabbed their faces making them drink too much water at once. She slammed them down and drowned them in water.

"You bastard!" Hugo bellowed and shot bullets at Lelita and they were all deflected in speeds Hugo couldn't understand.

"I'm surprised you're still alive.." Kudan appeared in a puff of smoke.

"You traitor..." Hugo said.

Kudan had red aura emitting from his left eye and his spear glowed a bright red. Hugo glared and his shotgun glowed.

"This time... I'll make sure you're dead." Kudan said.

"No...you will be the one on the ground." Hugo said.

Kotome and Siegfried continued their battle. Somehow Siegfried was able to keep up with Kotome. Kotome dodged his attacks and she jumped back.

"You aren't half bad Kotome." Siegfried said.

"Hmph..spare me the compliments..I will never forgive you for lying to me all those years ago.." Kotome said. "Now I have to deal with my own fiance lying to me."

"It was never my intention to destroy your home..I am just following orders." Siegfried said.

"You killed everyone in my village!" Kotome yelled.

"So?" Siegfried said.

Kotome looked dumbfounded and her heart thumped hard against her chest. He looked at her seriously. Kotome was pissed now and her dark aura emerged from her body. Her Frontier Arms, Twilight Suns, activated and her boots shined. She dashed to him and slashed. Siegfried blocked the attack and deflected her then went for a counter strike. Kotome landed on the ground as soon as the sword came close to her head. Her eyes glowed and she vanished. Siegfried was surprised and Kotome appeared behind him.

"This is for my mother!!" Kotome slashed at his back and disappeared.

Siegfried grunted and turned around then Kotome appeared behind him again.

"This is for my father!" Kotome had slight red lightning surging around her arm then slashed at his legs.

Julia sensed the red lightning looked in that direction and looked at Kotome. She panicked as she didn't want anyone to fall victim to the Phantom Demon Cells.

"Oh no..no no no.." Julia ran over to Kotome.

"My friends!" Kotome slashed at his chest and red aura flashed from her eyes.

"Kotome..you can not fall victim to them!" Julia said.

Kotome landed and grunted and panted then her aura flashed black and red. Siegfried fell on one knee and spit out blood. Kotome looked at her hand and red lightning sparked from her hand.

"What is this..?" Kotome panicked and groaned loudly and lightning burst from her body.

"Kotome?" Gloria turned to her.

Izumi looked back at Kotome and looked worried. Saya and Miyuna looked at Kotome and ran to her. Kotome panted and red lightning surged from her back. She held her head and groaned. Siegfried laughed and watched.

"She can't control her rage..her anger has been eating away at her soul for so long..avoiding the darkness...She will end up killing herself.." Siegfried laughed.

Kotome opened her hand and the red lightning slowly formed a Greatsword and her hair turned white and red aura emerged from both her eyes then she slowly stood up and slashed downward and stabbed the phantom sword through Siegfried's back. Siegfried coughed blood and fell to the ground.

"Kotome..!" Saya said.

Kotome took the sword from his back and the blood turned into steam and she looked at him and lowered her sword. She looked at the sword in her hand.

"A Phantom Weapon..." Kotome said and looked at everyone and her body turned normal and Julia gasped.

"You turned normal..! Kudan and Zain aren't able to do such a thing..!" Julia said.

Kotome looked at everyone and heard more Holy Order coming with 3 new Commanders. Lina, Kanon, Lloyd, and Adriesta arrived on the battlefield also.

"I will kill you Kudanstein!" Hugo yelled and fired his last magic bullet.

"....Pathetic...." Kudan said as he blocked it. "Now it's my turn.."

Kudan stabbed his spear in Hugo and drove the spear through his body and his eye emitted a large red aura and he yelled. Hugo groaned and coughed a lot of blood. Kudan yanked his spear out of his body and glared. Hugo fell to his knees and face first on the ground. Lelita looked back and saw more Holy Order members coming.

"Guess we have a longer fight to handle.." Lelita said.

I went into the main room and kicked down the door. The young girl squealed then I grabbed her face and dark aura surged from my body.

"All Holy Order members will die..no matter the age.." I said. "Say your final prayers!"

The girl squirmed and cried. I looked at her and my aura vanished.

"The f*ck..? Why are you crying?" I asked.

"I'm not a commander!" The girl cried. "Let me go!"

"There are three commanders here..who--" Kielazar was blasted through the fort walls and rolled on his back then slid on his knee.

The girl pointed at the man and we looked at the man who came out of hiding.

"I've been waiting for this moment...Sister.." A man laughed lowly.

I dropped the girl and remembered the picture and looked at the man then turned my body towards him.

"Zheng Yi.." I said and my golden eyes shined.

He chuckled and his golden eyes glowed as well. We stared at each other and Victoria took the girl and ran out of the main room. Zheng Yi and I walked around in circles and looked at each other.

"You won't win this war sister.." Zheng Yi said.

"Don't call me sister, you back stabbing b*tch." I said.

"Still as foul-mouthed as mother...why all this hate towards me, we are blood."

"Being family isn't enough anymore. I don't care if you're my blood, you are not my brother." I said.

"Don't be like that. If you just surrender the throne..I will let you live." He said.

"I'd rather be killed by having the ground below me break and I fall into the core of this planet. I will never surrender...I don't care who asks.." I said and dark aura surged from my eyes.

"Have it your way then.." He smirked and gold aura surged from his eyes.
