The Man Who Lost His Family

Saya and Miyuna jumped back as a woman threw her sword at them. The woman landed and grabbed her sword and her cloak flowed as her green eyes shined brightly. Saya and Miyuna looked at her and stuck close to one another.

"Traitors of Uphelia...You have lived long enough. Not to worry you will both die together!" The woman dashed towards them and slashed.

"No we won't!" Miyuna yelled and a huge star shield blocked the attack.

"We a part of the Nightmare Assembly! We won't fall to any one of you failure of lifeform!" Saya said.

"You think you can defeat me..? Janice, one of the Supreme Ten?" Janice said.

"Supreme Ten..? Hmph! When me and Miyuna are together, we are the strongest in the entire world! Let's show her Miyuna!" Saya said and summoned her daggers.

Saya dashed and Miyuna blew ice on Saya's feet and Saya began skating around Janice went for strikes in open spots. Janice blocked Saya's attacks and grabbed Saya's face and threw her against Miyuna and they both rolled back. Janice dashed towards them and jumped up going for a downward stab. Miyuna summoned a barrier that stopped the attack. Saya stood up and flames surrounded the barrier and the barrier started to melt. The flames started rising into a pillar and Saya summoned a magic circle.

"Hyper Flame Pillar!" Saya slammed her hand into the ground and the flame pillar vanished then a red circle appeared below Janice. She noticed and perfect dodged the pillar and appeared in front of Saya and kicked her away.

Saya crashed into a wall and grunted. Miyuna stood up and her Holy Star began to glow. Miyuna looked back at Saya, who was standing up then at Janice. Miyuna summoned multiple magic circles and clones of Miyuna and Saya appeared. Janice looked at them and the clones started to run around and messed with Janice. Saya got that assassin look in her eyes and twirled her dagger. Janice saw Saya and grunted at her speed. Saya sliced her cheek then landed then Miyuna blew Janice away with an ice blast. Saya jumped up and axe kicked her down.

"Damn..you two are far greater from my expectations..but it won't change the fact that you will die in my hands." Janice stood up.

Saya and Miyuna looked at each other then their aura surged. Saya folded her arms then pillars of ice rose one by one and Saya raised her hand as a huge fire ball appeared in the sky. Janice looked at the fireball and back at Saya and Miyuna. The pillars of ice flew towards the fireball and fused together making a Holy Star full of extreme heat.

"Dual Skill: Radiant Holy Star!" Both Saya and Miyuna bellowed and the Holy Star crashed to the ground slowly.

Everyone saw the Holy Star crashing down and looked in awe. Zofia watched the star and blinked. She has never seen such a thing before. I stopped and panted then watched the Holy Star crashed.

"Saya. Miyuna." I said.

"I can take it from here." Vier said.

"Alright." I nodded then watched Vier run off.

I watched the Holy Star and thought about how hard they've been practicing for this secret special move. The Holy Star crashed and a huge explosion happens, the after math was a massive heat blizzard that causes the body to get cold but burns you at the same time. Janice rolled back and slid on one knee and panted. The hair tie keeping her ponytail up broke and her hair fell down. Janice grunted and stood up slowly. Saya and Miyuna looked at her and saw Hisui and Vern coming. They charged straight for Saya and Miyuna then a water blade beam shot at them.

"What the--" Hisui stopped.

A man walked out and had on a kimono and ancient markings on his left arm. Hisui and Vern looked at him and watched him.

"Zehn..how did you escape your cell?" Hisui asked.

Zehn didn't speak. He opened his eyes and flickered but didn't move. Everyone looked at him and then Janice groaned and blood sprayed from her neck. Zehn was one of the Eternal Templars. He was one of the only ones who weilded an Ancient Arms.

"He's so fast.." Saya said. "He was just standing there.."

"I lost my family to these Holy Order and the Empire...They promised to give them back to me if I just told them the truth about Lost Astra..It was my fault why Lost Astra was targeted..They just killed them anyway...now I wish to right those wrongs.." Zehn looked at Hisui and Vern.

"Let's take him down!" Hisui dashed to Zehn and slashed.

Zehn blocked the attack and floated back. Vern dashed to him also and slashed. Zehn parried both her attacks and closed his eyes. Zehn dodged the attacks of Vern and Hisui.

"We were born after Kielazar left Lost Astra. We are his direct descendants. We are his family...We are what's left of his past..the Twelve Missing Memories. Kielazar has the abilities of all of us, master swords skills, otherworldly magic, blacksmithing, bloodthirsty, Berserker Mode, a masterful assassin..you name it..we are him in a sense...if he mastered all of his powers, we wouldn't exist..he never got the chance to master his abilities...he never got the chance to awaken at all..we exist because of that reason..soon we learned to be our own person...we have life..he basically gave us life...I am one of the oldest of the Eternal Templars.." Zehn said dodging Hisui and Vern. "Kielazar made it clear he doesn't want us to disappear...We have grown from nobodies to people who can live. Making us disappear to him would be like murdering us all.."

Saya and Miyuna listened to Zehn.

"I basically hold the memory of when he was a blacksmith. He crafted his first Eternal Sword, Juzumaru." Zehn showed Juzumaru to them. "The Sword of Certain Death. One of the Nine Eternal Swords I wield because of him. One slash from this sword causes instant death for Humans. He was only 8 years old when he made this blade...before being taken away by the Holy Order."

Hisui and Vern yelled and charged at him at the same time.

"I perfected his last Eternal Sword..Mikazuki." he summoned Mikazuki and his eyes glowed. "I hope you two learned a lot about your Guardian."

Hisui and Vern slashed at the same time. Zehn parried them both and flickered and slowly drew his sword out the scabbard.

"Slasher Arts: Mikazuki!" Zehn slashed faster than lightning and slid his sword back into the scabbard.

Hisui and Vern dropped dead on the ground and Zehn looked at Saya and Miyuna then vanished. They looked at each other and back at the battlefield. Two Commanders and a member of the Supreme Ten died by this one man. Victoria and Kielazar ran to them.

"Are you okay?" Kielazar asked.

"Yeah..we just met Zehn.." Saya looked at them.

Kielazar looked around and noticed tracks of Zehn then looked back at Saya and Miyuna. He ruffled their hair and closed his eyes. Victoria smiled and looked back.

"The Northern Gate is opened. We should find the last remaining Templars." Victoria said.

"Wait...I can't sense one of them..." Kielazar said.

"They must be in danger!" Saya said.

"No...they're dead...it was Sechs...Zephyr killed her. I could feel the dark aura oozing from her. She got through the barrier and her power was gone...we need twelve Templars including myself to break the barrier.." Kielazar said.

Victoria looked at him and held his arm. He looked at her and she looked determined.

"Make me a Templar." Victoria said.

Everyone who was around was shocked by her words. Kielazar didn't know how to respond to that. Victoria blushed and kept looking at him. She was determined to become a Templar. Kielazar thought about his answer for a while then parted his lips to speak.
