The First King of Arcania: The King of Lunia

The next day, I was in the meeting room with the Nightmare Assembly, and Vivi and Izumi brought some valuable information. I got the paperwork from them that had top tier information on how to even entire the Capital of Arcania.

"The Capital is blocked by a magical barrier that requires the souls of all Seven Kings of Arcania. The Specters of the Kings reside in Lunia, Arthvia, Uphelia, Maanga, Estria, Shakiyo, and Menon. There is one issue though." Izumi said.

"What's the issue?" I asked.

"Once we break that barrier, Emperor Lazlord will gain the seven souls of the king and achieve a permanent God Mode and have Nigh-Omnipotence. You have Devil Mode but you can't defeat someone with a hint of Omnipotence unless you have Nigh-Omnipotence yourself. Luckily in your case, the Seven Auras substitute for that Nigh-Omnipotence so you're set." Vivi said.

I nodded and interlocked my fingers together over my mouth as I placed my elbows against the table and thought for a bit.

"We could get assistance form a outside source, mainly the Dark Lords. The only issue is that even Emperor Lazlord can defeat them now once he gets those souls." Izumi said.

"And there is a chance they won't even bat an eye towards us. We can not rely on someone who won't help us. The only person who can defeat the Emperor is you Stella. We can't even touch the Kings' Phantoms. This time only you and Aria can actively defeat the Kings and Stella only you can defeat Lazlord." Vivi said.

"Luckily for us we can handle the Supreme Guards and the remaining Supreme Ten." Sazuka said.

"Remember that Lunaris is always with you! You even surpassed her." Su Yi smiled.

I nodded and stood up then looked at Aria. Aria opened her eyes and thought about the children she used to take care of and how they are in these moments. I gave her a reassuring pat on her shoulder. She looked at me and smiled.

"Where is the King of Lunia?" I asked.

"In the Sacred Lunia Temple deep in Lunia Forest. Each King resides in a Scared Temple in their respective Kingdoms and each one can control one of the Seven Auras." Izumi said.

"Alright." I nodded.

"Stella. This will be the true final battle. I just want to make sure you don't die so I made you this charm." Miyuna said and walked towards me. She held out a necklace that had a picture of me, Saya, and herself.

"Miyuna.." I smiled and took the necklace. This reminded me of more of Tomoka. I put the necklace on and ruffled her hair. "Thank you. I'll make sure to cherish this forever."

Miyuna smiled and nodded then Saya walked up and gave me a hug. I looked at her and rubbed her hair. Kotome looked at me and had her hands behind her back.

"Mom...I just want you to know that I..I uhm..I love you and I hope you come back to us alive." Kotome said.

"Awe. I love you too, Kotome. I will come back, do not worry." I smiled.

The three walked out the room and Aria stood up then we left the room to go towards Lunia Forest. Ysserel was laying outside and she opened her eyes. I rubbed her snout and she stood up then flew in the air.

"Ready?" I asked.

"Always." Aria nodded.

We made our way into Lunia Forest. We made it half way into the forest and there was mist surrounding the area and we heard a voice.

"Heroes of Arcania...you wish to enter my domain and challenge me for my soul? You made it past my trials. I only have one and that is to defeat the Guardian of Lunia." The voice said and the mist cleared as a Guardian stood in front of us.

"This reminds me of when I had to challenge Valora, Spectem, and Nixtorm to get into Lem to battle Omu." Aria said.

"Yeah, but this is different than some Warlord fights to stop a guy from destroying a country. We are fighting to get into a Capital and after we do we are literally just handing over power." I said and looked at the guardian.

"Yeah, but you never even had to fight Lazlord until now." Aria said.

"I thought about it, but then I changed my mind when he didn't attack for a few months. I thought he had a change of heart. Guess I was wrong." I said.

"No worries, I too am easily fooled." Aria smiled. "Foolish to believe you were giving it your all in Genten."

"Whatever, let's deal with his guardian." I rolled my eyes and smiled.

We transformed into our Devil and God Modes then the Guardian's eyes shined red and let out an otherworldly bellow then got in a stance. I dashed towards the Guardian and Aria followed close behind. The Guardian jumped up and came back down and punched the ground releasing a force of magic energy. We dodged and Aria did hand signs and clapped her hands together.

"Chains of Light!" Aria bellowed and chains grabbed the Guardian.

"Jupiter Blow!" I summoned my sword from a bolt of lightning and slashed at the Guardian's stomach area then blew the Guardian backwards with the power of lightning.

We landed and the Guardian's armor broke, revealing a woman and she stood up. She looked up and bellowed letting out an ear piercing screech. Aria and I yelled and covered our ears then fell on one knee.

"MY EARS!!" I yelled.

"IT HURTS SO MUCH!!" Aria yelled.

The woman stopped screeching and she dashed towards us and struck my face and blew me through a couple of trees. Aria looked at me then was hit in her kicked and kicked against a tree then one inch punched through some trees as well. I bellowed and flew towards the woman and grabbed her face and threw her in the air. Aria appeared above the woman and punched the woman back down. I glared and time slowed down then I kicked the woman to the right and time went back to normal. Aria's spirit grabbed the woman and exploded then Aria landed and her spirit returned to her body.

"Stella!" Aria called out.

"Gotcha." I said and vanished.

The woman was falling and I was in the air and I took out my bell and rang it once then a figure swooped down and caught me then roared and blasted the woman with a dark blue flame and I pointed.

"Finish her! Omega Cannon!" I commanded.

Ysserel roared and charger up a blast and released a large dark beam of energy at the woman and her body was turned into ashes. Ysserel landed and I got off then she flew back into the sky. Aria walked towards me and nodded.

"We got her out the way now--" I started then paused as I saw the fog clear and reveal a Temple.

"You impress me...now come and face your destiny. Your final trial is to battle me and win if you want my soul." The voice said.

Aria and I looked at each other then walked towards the Temple. We walked up the stairs of the building and entered the Temple and saw an empty arena with four pillars. The doors behind us closed and we looked at the door and back ahead then a Spirit appeared before us and materialized into a human being.

"Heroes of Arcania, I know why you are here. You fully know the dangers of collecting the Seven Souls of the Kings. Your desire to save this country and possibly the world is admirable, yet foolish. I simply won't hand over my soul to you." The King of Lunia said. "I, Shion King of Lunia, will test your might and see if you are deemed worthy."

"You do come from a royal bloodline right, Stella?" Aria asked.

"Shion is my Great Grandfather. I never imagined battling him. I know he has the Orange Aura." I said.

"An Ice and Water user. He will try to debuff us and utilize the Slow effect of his power." Aria said. "Lightning should deal with him easily, we shall utilize blue aura as much as possible."

I nodded and Shion summoned his sword from a line of ice. We got in a stance and got ready. Shion dashed towards up and used a sword thrust. We jumped out the way, but Shion spun in a circle and hit us both. I crashed into a wall and grunted. Aria hit a pillar and groaned a bit. Shion jumped back and held his hand out and large ice thorns appeared around him and he snapped his fingers and the thorns shot at us. We swiftly moved so the thorns wouldn't hit us, but Shion stuck his sword in the ground and slashed up and down releasing Hydro blade beams. We dodged those along with the ice thorns. His onslaught finished and he stopped to generate aura form the elemental crystals on the ground. As he was gradually generating aura, two large crystals emerged and two knights appeared from the crystal.

"Yo, your grandfather is not letting up. We can't even get close to him." Aria said.

"I know, but this will be our only chance to attack. The issue is his summon ability disallows us to get close." I said. "Plus I can't call Ysserel in here because she won't fit and I'll be putting you at risk of her attacks as well."

The knights attacked us and were very swift. I summoned my sword right on time and parried a knight. Aria did the same and parried the knight that was attacking her. I clashed with the knight multiple times before getting a clean hit on the Knight and they shattered.

"They are one hit kills! Finish the Knight and let's attack Shion while we have the chance!" I said and dashed towards Shion.

Aria parried her knight then slashed and hit the Knight and the knight shattered. She dashed towards Shion and our blue auras flashed from our eyes and we struck Shion at the same time. Shion grunted and slid back on one knee. Blue aura was emitting from my sword then I bellowed and spun then slashed, hitting Shion and he hit the wall and Aria yelled, kicking him onto the wall again. Shion yelled and his aura pushed us back. His aura engulfed him and he entered his second phase. His armor broke off and he yelled and the floor was filled with frost.

"What the..?" Aria looked at the floor.

"A Second Pha--" I started then was hit in the stomach and groaned. Shion was much, much faster and stronger.

I flew through the pillar and the pillar crumbled down. Shion summoned ice needles and shot them at Aria. Aria tried to run but slipped and fell and the needles were coming directly towards her. Aria yelled and a fire barrier melted the needles and the frost on the ground. I stood up and coughed. Shion raised his hands and the water on the ground rose up in the air. The water formed arms and hands behind him.

"I feel like I'm inside Dark Souls..." I said.

"And you fought these types of enemies back then?" Aria asked.

"Yep. My life is basically Dark Souls.." I said.

"Take this!" Shion bellowed.

Shion dashed forward and started with a sword thrust. I tried to block it, but it just broke my guard then the water arms punched me and grabbed me, tossed me in the air then grabbed my leg slamming me into the ground once more. Aria had lightning around her sword and dashed towards Shion and slashed. Shion perfect parried her and spun around to the left and hit Aria away then combo'd her with the water blade beam that was released in all directions. Aria grunted and fell to the ground. I stood up and growled and my aura surged then I yelled in frustration and blue lightning surged all around the area. My aura turned into Indigo then I dashed towards Shion.

"You can never defeat me!" Shion said and slashed and released a blade beam.

I slashed through the blade beam and a portal opened and a giant hand grabbed Shion. He grunted and I generated a lot of Nether Energy.

"Final Nether...IMPULSE!" I bellowed and released all nether elemental energy from my body and a black explosion blew Shion away and destroyed half of the arena.

Aria watched and I reversed the space of the Nether Explosion which needed a lot of focus. The power of the Nether energy was formed into a tiny ball of energy and I closed my hand over it and it shined in my hand.

"Celestial Burst!" I said and released the tiny ball of Aether Energy.

I dashed to Aria and grabbed her hand and vanished with her in hand then the Aether energy exploded and the explosion destroyed what was left of the temple and most of the area around the temple. We appeared away from the area and Aria looked surprised.

"Final Nether Impulse into Celestial Burst is an INSANE combo! The destructive power of those moves could've cost your life if you messed up!" Aria said.

"I know but it was the only thing I could've done. If we kept with the original plan, we would've lost the battle." I said.

The smoke cleared and Shion fell on his knees and shattered into orange particles and his soul floated to us. I held the soul in my hands and looked at it. Aria looked as well and the soul was orange.

"One soul down, six more to go." I said.

"Where to next?" Aria asked.

"Three of the Kingdoms are near is, the other three are near the Empire and guarded by Supreme Guards and Supreme Ten members." I said. "Our next three targets are Maanga, Arthvia, and Uphelia."

"Right. Let's get a move on then." Aria said.

I nodded and opened a small portal and pocketed the soul in the portal and closed it. We ran out of the forest and a figure on a tree branch watched us.

"Yes, they have the first soul collected...I will watch their progress up until all seven souls are collected." The figure said then hung up and vanished into the shadows by jumping up.
