You Were The One Chosen

"Now I need you to stay here and help conduct the test with me. I have a few things to do, since it's a busy day today with most of the faculty busy in the event tonight, I am unfortunately tasked with other things I have to look into. Hence, I need someone to watch over her during the test while I do my work." By now Alaina was partially listening to what they were talking about.

"Then find someone else." Ivar tried to excuse himself out of the situation of having to watch Alaina take a test for a whole hour. 

"Why? You are already here. Let's not waste all of our time trying to hunt another soul when you're perfect for it, Ivar. You were the one chosen for it, and you accepted it since the beginning; why are you cowering away from it now?" Aspen inquired furrowing his brows.
