Target Acquired

After a few more moments the rest of the Leaders walk cautiously back into the building, several of them glancing towards me with either fear or uneasiness. Gulag sits back into his previous seat near me and smiles confidently at me, a look of respect shining in his stony grey eyes. Before I have a chance to say anything the leech man interrupts me once again and I have to force myself not to kick his snide ass out of the meeting before I recall his name and inspect him.

{Krask Level 43 Mana Leech Merchant(Non Combatant)}

The Mana Leech people are a grotesque and cruel species. Upon birth they hide within the waters waiting for a humanoid creature to come within range of their mouths. Once the unknowing victim is close enough the leech clings to its armor, hiding, until it has an opportunity to attach to the victim. Once attached the leech slowly draws the victims mana and blood as food, growing stronger and larger in size until its the size of a grape. Once this size happens the leech then begins eating the victims soul and absorbing its skills as well as stats until the leach eventually consumes the victims entirely. Once this happens the leech then gains the face of its victim as well as their previous class, memories, and abilities until the leech obtains the necessary levels for evolution. Krask unluckily attached to an experienced merchant with very little combat skill causing his growth to be slow and tedious.

"Sir Noortain although I admit that Queen Silver isn't my favorite of creatures , even I don't think the brat deserved that type of brutish treatment. And to threaten her with death or servitude is absolutely unacceptable which forces me to vote in the negative to working with your people. I feel the benefits of your power are countered by the threat of your brutishness. I am sorry to disappoint you." Krask says quickly, his voice oozing with snide assuredness as he gets up and makes his way to the door. Before he can reach the opening I nod towards my side and both Wug and Zadin block the entrance, both stationed on either side just in case of such an event. Krask turns towards me with his human face livid with rage before Keeg appears underneath the monstrous leech's chin with a long stiletto pointed directly under the creatures chin. Several of the leaders turn pale or cautiously put their hands on the hilts of their weapons as Gulag looks at me with questioning eyes.

"Krask was it? Let me be blunt in what I'm about to say. After the last battle I had a sort of…awakening, yea that sounds right. During the time I slept my mind was being tested by an unceasing enemy, one that no matter how many times it died would instantly revive and go back on the offensive. After waking up I realized that the skills and lessons I learned during these battles translated into the actual world and that to survive this war, kill these abominable creatures, and protect my people I would have to become colder. So I will make this clear because I recognize the type of man you are 'Sir' Krask, if you are my ally or even neutral I will show you the same respect you show me. I will hear you out and may even come to your aid if I feel its right. But if you go against me, if you try to hinder what we are trying to do, or you prove to be my enemy I will hunt you. I will force you submit or I will shatter your soul so that you can never find peace, forever stuck in this world in agony until I deem otherwise. Do I make myself clear merchant?" I say slowly and methodically, my voice as cold as ice as every person in this room stares at me in fear or with great caution. My own allies are looking at me with surprise and a few even nod with respect at my proclamation as Krask's face has gone pale and sweat drips from his brow as his gelatinous body shivers in fear. The leech merchant nods his head before making his way back to his seat, his eyes never straying from mine as he sits slowly and begins to breath heavily.

All of a sudden I smile gently at everyone in the room and take a deep breath before continuing.

"Now that I've said all that I do wish to apologize about the whole Alice situation. Although she did offend me I ultimately wanted to test myself against an expert and seeing as she struck first I thought it was ultimately fair. Sadly I didn't realize that even for though she is a powerful mage, almost all her attacks dealt with illusion or pyschic attacks which I am immune to so ultimately it was a sad fight with her just flailing at me with her lower powered and barely used plant magic. I also wanted to make a public example that if you provoke me you will be made to pay. She will serve me well now and hopefully with a little bit of polishing I can turn her into an actual Queen that can defend her people instead of just posturing. Now we have three targets and I believe our easiest one would be the elf that may or may not have started this mess. Anyone have info?" I ask happily as most peoples eyes are filled with shock while Gulag chuckles in amusement and another of the leader smiles and nods towards me. I quickly inspect the smiling creature and smile back gently in response as everyone else begins discussing.

{Yo Zorbo Glutton Level 58 Boss}

The Zorbo are an extremly dangerous species of beasts that reside in forested and swamp area's. These creatures Resemble a large bear with shaggy long fur, orange in color with black spots in various area's. Most Zorbo are solitary, lazily hunting their next meals and sleeping. Zorbo are carnivores that usually hunt humanoid races, their favorite being civilized races such as humans, elves, dwarves, and gnomes. Yo is a rare exception to this as he prefers to be surrounded by people and takes an intense interest in various types of food and their cooking style. After fighting and devouring several extremly dangerous and potent magical creature Yo gained the ability to absorb the properties of his surroundings making him an extremly hard target to fight against.

After reading his description I chuckle under my breath as everyone is finally done arguing and a short man stands up and begins speaking.

"I saw the elf, twas a thin thing. Skin was fair and her hair was dark, she wore armor like you folk but it was in rough shape and she wore her rage on her face. Was interested in her blade so I followed her, plannin to nick it and all but after a few miles she stopped and pulled a bottle with liquid in it out. Elf lass made a circle with the blood and then sliced herself open and started talking some crazy words that burned my ears. When she was done everything went cold and I could hear the water but was running, like a river or a creek. After a few moments a splash happened and a big froggy looking guy jumped out of the circle and it closed beneath him, thing had to stand as high as two ogre's stacked atop each other. Four arms with claws way sharper than the lasses dagger and strong muscles like a runners. large chest with its head almost like a swamp terrors but the eyes shone with intelligence, predatory as it looked around and its black lips smiled showin off dem razor sharp teeth. Creature snagged the elf lass in one hand and used the others to rip off her clothes, the lass just let it happen with no words or screams. Creature nodded its head and turned around, giant tail with a fin going from its tip to the top of his head and he walked into the distance. After that I went back to me family and broughtem here, figured I'd had business with Talia and her kin in the past and maybe they'd let us hole up. Just seein' that beast twas enough to make me know bad things were coming." Says the man as I inspect him quick and thank him before asking for a few minutes to process.

{Terry Flint Mongrelman Cutpurse Level 30 Elite)

Mongrelfolk are a sad race of creatures that seem to have pieces of every humanoid race in their veins. Although this may sound intimidating it is very much not so, as they very rarely gain any of the abilities from their blood and are born horribly disfigured, resembling a patchwork of multiple races all combined into one. Terry Flint is a rare mongrelman that was born less disfigured than his family, his skin mostly smooth with small patches of scales or fur showing. His head coated in hair with only a single small horn and even his arms are all human. His only true telling is his legs as he stands at the height of a dwarf but has the legs, one with the hoof and fur of a minotaur while the other shines green like an orcs.

"After hearing all this I believe we should definitely start this off by hunting down this beasts lair and snagging this elf girl. Fighting it right now isn't ideal until we know its weakness so lets adjourn for now and start setting this thing up." I say as everyone begins walking outside, as I stand to follow them I'm stopped by Gulag as he motions for me to follow him and Yo outside and towards an area shrouded in shadows.
