What happens when a vigilante gets caught and forced to attend UA High School?

“Would you let a killer enter your school?”

“...Never,” he replies 

I looked down as I felt my heart sink. I knew it. Even though I already knew the answer, I shouldn’t have given myself hope. I thought to myself. 

“I would never let a killer enter my school,” he said 

Yeah. Sure. Go ahead and rub more salt in the wound why don’t ya? Pour the whole container while you're at it!

“I guess it’s a good thing you're not a killer right? You’re a Hero.” He said

A String Of Fate

On patrols, I watched for the man in the mask. I hadn't found anything so I would use my extra time to go on patrols during the day. It was risky, I know. 


One day, I had been flying over the city when I saw familiar green hair and Smiley next to him. I was about to land next to them when I saw the man with the mask in front of them. 


I landed behind a building and went in from the back entrance. I grabbed a random object, gave the owner some money, and made my way to the front doors. I ran up to the two heroes. 


"Hey! I got the…" I looked at what I grabbed *Of course I would grab this* 


"...Pepto bismol. Let's hurry! I don't think I can hold it anymore! Piglet! It looks like you have a stomach ache too! Clench those cheeks and run!" I yelled as I grabbed his hand and ran. Smiley apologized to the masked man and ran after us. 


Midoriya tried to pull his hand from mine but I held tighter. "Don't look back" I muttered 


I looked over at him and whispered "I know. Just not now."


Rose swung her head at me and whispered "I know. Just not now." 


Her eyes were on the brink of tears. Her hands were shaking. 


"We might make things worse" she said "You should tell Nighteye what happened. I will try to find out more about the two" 


When we were further from the man in the mask, she let go of my hand and flew into the sky. 


"I let Nighteye know that we came into contact with Shie Hassaikai" Mirio told me


"Her as well. Does Rose know about this mission?" He asked 


I nodded. Sir Nighteye told me not to tell anyone but Mirio was on the same team as us. He should know. 


I landed on a nearby building. I sighed. *I know how Midoriya feels* I looked around and decided that I should head back to the dorms. *If they knew that someone was onto them, they would go into hiding*


"What's up with Bakugo? Was he fighting again?" Mina asked


"Oh the girls didn't see him yet?" Denki asked "Take a look at Todoroki, too"


Both Bakugo and Shoto had been beaten up during our training.


"How come Rose isn't hurt? Are they going easier on her or something?" Mina asked 


I had been in a daze for some time so I looked up in surprise. 


"They are not. They give us the same training" Shoto said


I looked at Bakugo and Shoto and snorted. 


"Shut up! You always come to class late and are always the first to leave. How do you do it?" Bakugo demanded


Classes had started going back to normal but Midoriya seemed to be in a daze. I walked to him and bopped him on the head.


He rubbed his head and asked "what was that for?" 


"You can't let your emotions take over you. This…" I indicated to himself "...won't help anyone. You can't be a hero and not expect to see some bad things. Get your act together." 


"I know" he said sadly "How do you do it? How can you look at someone and not want to help?" 


"You can yell and scream that you are helping but what's the point if in the end they end up suffering because of you?" I asked and I walked away


The pain in my chest won't ever leave. But in that pain, I have learned how to cope with it. 


She had the same look in her eyes now as back when she would talk about her friends. 


*She said both of her friends had died. So what happened to the other?* I wondered
