Rachael sighed and touched her head. "Although your father was so bad at math, he was also very good at chemistry and logical reasoning.

"Back then just thinking about the logic exams would give me nightmares and it was your father who offered to tutor me. I'm telling you this so that you realise that no one is perfect in everything.

"There might be some people who have more talents than others but that doesn't mean that those who are only good at a single thing aren't special.

"You need to understand that you aren't a know-it-all, and you shouldn't always use other people as a yardstick for measuring your own success."

Dorita felt that what her mother just said made a lot of sense but she still felt like she was lacking.

"Dad beat you in logic?" she asked with pure surprise. Usually their father rarely talked of his academic prowess and this made them think that he was just average but who knew that he was actually able to beat her mother.
