Dinner

Around the afternoon Jason came over to Bernadette's desk and found her writing as usual.

"I didn't know you could sketch something so nice." He teased. She had drawn two hands that were separated yet still trying to hold each other.

"Where have you been today?" she asked immediately.

Jason laughed a bit and sat on her desk, "I had to handle some things, how are you?"

"I'm fine, can't you tell?"

Jason pointed out, "I meant your face…and the whole of you."

"What do you mean?" Bernadette frowned slightly.

"You look even prettier than before. Tell me, are you trying to please someone?" he winked mischievously.

Bernadette blushed a bit but managed to control herself, she hit him with a stack of paper, "stop joking around, I didn't do anything to my face."

She was telling the truth but she had done something to her hair and perfume. Inwardly, she still thought she wasn't as pretty as Ruth.
