A Suitable Lie

Jason didn't ask him why he was so determined to find Zurich and just wrote it off as one of the missions given to him by Wakeville's police department. After several other questions, which weren't answered satisfactorily, Bryan and Jason decided to put the men away and report to the chief.

Bryan was surprised that he was calm throughout. It was the first time since Anna died that he had come in contact with anything directly involving her and yet was unaffected. All that occupied the deepest parts of his mind was how to get revenge.

"Chief, we're through the questioning and we'd like to return the diamonds." Jason reported dutifully to Bruce.

Bruce gave them a meaningful look and sighed, "Okay, I'll come along."
