Crushed Soul

As Bryan got closer and closer to Alexa he felt something was wrong. He quickly checked his speedometer and found that his speed hadn't increased but rather, the reason why he was catching up with Alexa was because she was actually slowing down!

All her life she had never had any close friends who treated her as a person rather than this rich girl whom they could ask for favours. She only had friends at the office but outside that she was lonely.

This coupled with her father's strange behaviour had put a very huge burden on her.  Her father used her as a bargaining chip and forced her to agree to a marriage proposal that she never wanted to.

All that ever mattered to him was his money and how to expand his empire and he never once stopped to think about how she felt all those time.
