The next day, Bryan and Bernadette arrived at the small house where they had kept barrister Chen locked up for the past two days. They didn't get the chance to 'interview' him because of the Edith and Gael episode.

They closed the door after entering. The room was a bit dark but it had a large bulb hanging from the ceiling which illuminated the weak figure of the barrister with his head drooping sideward.

Bryan went over to the other side of the room and put down his large bag which he had brought with him. He took out a flask and uncorked its lid with a smile. The flask emitted steam when it was opened.
