A Race Of Power

She continued with the game. She used up most of her upgrades taking Maria by surprise. This wasn't the person she had played against yesterday, where had she gotten all the upgrades?

The first thing that Bernadette did was to switch her position with Maria's after she had used a speed booster to fly several meters away. She then followed that up with power jumps to cover large area.

Maria was frustrated at her bad luck but kept playing but this time she had to play wise. She could also switch positions again but she didn't know how many of the upgrades the other party had and if she played in her game it would end up as a game of wits and bluff.

She gritted her teeth and diverted her car towards the road intersection while activating the invisibility power up to shield her from her opponent's view. This way not even switch could work on her however this state had a time limit, only a minute.
