Meeting The Brother

That afternoon, Jason decided he should pay Maria a visit to inform her that he'd be away for a small business. He didn't want her to worry when she tried contacting him later.

It was also an opportunity to clear things up between them since they hadn't talked to each other after the kiss the other day. He wanted to make sure that his feelings were clear and not muddled.

He knew that the worst form of cowardice was confessing love to a lady just before disappearing to another city for a mission but this was his best shot.

He arrived at her house since it was almost evening and he knew that she would be home by now. She had informed him that she lived in Rose Street during one of their many conversations and that's where he was headed.

He stood outside the door and took a bit of time before knocking on the door gently. After a short silence the door was flung open and the deep eyes that seemed like a vortex stared down at him. It was Fred.
