Hanging On A Ladder

James waited as the elevator kept going up and he prepared himself for any surprises that might pop up. This wasn't part of his plans though; he knew well enough that if he was caught on this mission and identified as one of the people handling the case then it might end badly for him.

He might be associated with the killer and his act of infiltration wasn't necessary since he could've come here with his badge and get the information he needed, only he didn't trust this hospital.

He held his breath but then he saw the light on the floor number jump to the fourth floor and he froze, what the hell just happened?

"I'm still heading up, what's happening?" he asked over the ear piece.

"Relax," Regina replied and though he couldn't see her face but he was sure that she was cracking a grin, "I just bypassed some of the elevator systems' protocols and now I can move this particular elevator wherever I want it."
