The school was a fair distance away from the bus. They both were walking when Alex spoke first, "Bella, we are here to take my sister home. She will share a room with you. But if you are uncomfortable, able then she can stay with Aunt too."

"But uh, I. I wanted to say as you know we only have one bathroom. I.. I want you to close the door and lock it when you are in" his cheeks burned red with embarrassment

but he doesn't want that incident to be repeated. What if he went to. Bathroom half asleep in the night and she was in. He doesn't know about her but he will die of embarrassment for sure.

Thank goodness the girl didn't stare or question but just nodded.

"Good, and the rent we haven't discussed it yet. How much do you think will be okay with you?" If she paid in advance. He can bring gifts for everyone and help a bit to Mike in paying hospital bills.

But the girl looked again blankly and he sighed. Here he thought talking to her is become easier. He shook his head and explained further. "I mean you are living with us, we are giving you a furnished house, wifi, cleaning facilities and food also. Normally rent is between £400- £600 without food in the south area.

But since my room is small I can adjust but then we are providing food also. So how much do you think will you pay?" Please just pay at least 500£.

The girl blinked and said, "I don't have money but I can give you all stones"

Stones! Oh! "Are you talking about the one in your box?" he asked getting what she said

The girl nodded. "You can have them all, and I will stay here forever." 'I will never go back to hell' she added in her mind.

"Oh, forever is a long term but if you want to stay a long time how about 2 years." He asked if she paid in advance. He could even invest some amount.

The girl stared and then nodded

"Good, then I will ask a jeweller about the price of gold and charge according to £600 including food. Okay?"

The girl nodded again. Alex smiled so brightly that his smile could even blind anyone. Even the girl who lacks emotions and doesn't know much about facial expressions got stunned.

"Oh, we are here". He said looking at the school gate. He went to the guard on the post and asked "how much time is left in school off"

The man looked at the boy and smiled, "oh Alex, students had already started going back. But you have to go and sign the register before letting Anna back."

He smiled and nodded. He then held her hand and went in. The girl looked at the hand and then him. A smile formed on her face as she followed him.

But just when they reached the hall

"Look at that dress brother. It looks like she picked it up from the garbage." A girl teased Anna.

"Oh, sister don't say that after all, she is our family." Mocked the boy standing behind the girl.

"Sorry brother, Anna why don't you come to my house. I will give my old dresses to you. They would still be better than this one. What was its original colour by the way?" said the girl faking concern

"It has nothing to do with you Lina leave the way," Anna said controlling her anger.

"Hey, what's with the tone Anna. She was trying to help you here." Shouted the boy

"I don't need your help. I have brother Alex for it" she said trying to walk past them. But they just blocked the way.

"That illiterate loser, he does nothing but cleans the utensils used by others and clean their tables. Just cleaning shoes is left" said the boy and they both laughed.

"Hey what are you doing here?" Came the lady just when Alex entered

"Don't you dare say something about my brother?" Anna snapped grabbing the collar of the boy.

"Anna! leave him," said Alex holding her hands trying to get the boy free.

"Look at how you are handling her. How rude and insolent she has become. Apologise to your brother." Yelled the lady at Anna.

"I did nothing wrong, they insulted my brother first." Said the girl with clean he'd fists.

"No mother I didn't." Said the boy hugging her mother's waist and the girl also followed.

"Yes mother, brother only said he clean the tables in the cafe." She replied hugging the other side and peeking with a smirk from behind.

"Isn't it true Alex. Then what is there to rile up so much. If you feel that degrading then don't do it. What is with hitting others?" Asked the lady haughtily her tone was a pitch higher so that others could also hear.

"How dare you?" Anna ran to the lady to fight but Alex grabbed her from waist from behind.

"Calm down my iron lady. We are still in school" he coaxed her but she just glared.

"Leave me, brother Alex. They need to be taught a lesson. It's their mistake that we are here. And still, they still have the audacity to taunt us. Hmph," she tried her best to get free from his grip but it's too tight for her and she didn't want to hurt her brother too.

"Oh my, Audacity. You have learnt big words, my little girl." Then he looked at the lady and smiled "and aunt there is no way that only one is wrong in the argument. As elders we should not mind the words so much. We are getting late, see you later" he said dragging the girl who is still wriggling with all her might and shouting at her to leave. "I wish I they would fall while descending stairs" she murmured looking at them going down.
