Pain and torments

Bella looked at the running and tumbling elves as they ran for their lives. She knew they wouldn't listen to her. Still looking at their frightened faces hurt her. She hadn't done anything ever to hurt someone. But the tag of demon would never let her go.

They wouldn't help her. She knew it was an impossible task to ask mother elf to burn the red thread that binds her to the hell. But she has to continue trying.

Once the thread would get burned they wouldn't be able to find her by the blood strings. This is her only hope. But how. These elves are not even looking at her.

They are running in circles and jumping out of the windows to hide from her. She rubbed her aching forehead. Then taking a deep sigh she moved and caught an elf nearby.

She looked into his frightened eyes and asked, "tell me where the mother elf is?" She asked but the afraid elf has turned himself into a small ball.

He was neither listening to her not looking into her eyes. She sighed and put him down back there. The moment his feet touched his ground, he ran faster than the air.

She sighed and sat there at the crumpled seats which are much smaller for her body. She took the notepad from the table and jolted down the address she was living.

She was sure that elves would never share it to other demons. much less share they would not even pass a 100 feet around them. As demon would first eat them then try to think what they wanted to say.

Frustrated she shouted, "if I wanted to kill or eat you, I would have already done that. Why would I have been sitting here looking at you running and tumbling around"

But just as she had thought, no one listened. Annoyed, she kicked the Stool nearby which moved many feet away before falling back.

"Aahhh" many nearby elves shouted as if she had already put them in her mouth and now savouring them. She glared at the bunch of fools. They are just showing her a free circus show.

'Do they think they could run away with those tiny legs of theirs if I really wanted to eat them? Such a fool!' She mumbled to herself. The morning rays of the sun fell on her face and she knew she doesn't have much time.

Soon, they would wake up. And Anna would be surprised if she would not find her there. She smiled at the thought of meeting with them again.

She didn't know that a blank sheet of paper is getting filled with the colours of love, care, friendship and much more.

She has unknowingly attached herself from them. A mere coincidence has taken a place in her heart. But then she looked at the room which was empty now.

She knew she is going to gain nothing tonight. At least she had saved herself from their clutches. But what if they came back. No, she has to do something to keep them away.

She clenched her fingers in determination and shouted at the top of her lungs in the empty room, "I know you are there. Listen I am going back. See I haven't hurt anyone of you. Much less killing and eating. I didn't even try to catch you. I just need help. I. I want to be human. I want to be good. Only your mother elf can help me.

Only she has the power to help me. I am begging you at least tell her that I came. I promise I will save you from other demons in exchange. At least give me a chance." She begged, she pleaded, trying to put her every emotion in her words the way she can. The way she had learnt from Anna and Alex.

But they didn't come out, they didn't listen to her pleas. It was nothing but a fake crocodile tear for them. A new scheme played by her. But they would not fall in the trap.

No, they are smart, hiding in the corner they waited for her to depart. Even if it would take the centuries they wouldn't come out. They have all the time in the world.

There are still four days left for Christmas. Santa would come and save them from her clutches. They were reassured of their security. They just have to stall time. They smirked at their smartness.

Unknown to her, a tear came out of her eyes and touched her lips. Feeling the wetness she touched her lips and took the tear in her eyes. She blinked not knowing what it was and how did it come out.

Did she produce it? But how. How could she produce water from her body? Confused she touched her face and found a bit more wetness under her eyes.

Tilting her head she looked at the water. But before she could put more thought into it. Warmth of morning Sun rays started to fill the room.

She put the paper

in which she wrote the address back on the table she shouted once again, "this is my address, please give it to mother elf and tell her I need her help. In exchange, I am ready to help you in fighting with demons.

At least pass my message to her and let her take the decision " she sighed looking at the empty room and pin drop silence in reply. If this didn't work she would try to find out another way.

But she would never give up. She would get herself free from the clutches of hell. She would never go back with those demons in the core of the earth where there is nothing except the pain and torments.
