Bella looked at him and blinked, "but you touched my ass, Alex." she accused him again making him dumbfounded.

Alex coughed embarrassed, remembering how he  was enjoying touching her and even commented it was firm and perky.

"I was in sleep Bella, i did not know." he was telling the truth.

But Bella added, "but you said in any case, Alex." her reasoned left him speechless once again.

  Now what shall he do, if he said this was an exception, she would ask him to make a list of exceptions. 

He sighed, "okay, it was  a mistake Bella, i apologise." he replied sincerely, he should not take advantage of her childlike innocence.

"Coming, I am coming." Anna exclaimed as the doorbell rang continuously,

She ran from the kitchen and opened the door, "hey, welcome home, how was your day?" she asked, putting a hand on Alex's forehead.

"Your fever had increased," she exclaimed when her eye fell on the chocolate drop on his clothes.

"You ate chocolate?" she asked surprised as they had taken bento boxes for lunch today.

"We had an ice cream," said Bella with a smile and Anna narrowed her eyes at Alex who coughed.

When he denied her an accident, he should have denied her telling about ice cream too.

"I just tasted it, Bella was the one who ate it." he said entering the house.

Anna blinked her eyes, as it took her a minute to realise what he was saying.

"You mean you shared the ice cream with her?" there was a pleasant surprise in her voice and Alex nodded, without getting the underlying meaning.
