The unlucky one

I woke up hearing beeps after beeps which is giving me a killer headache... 


My throat was too dry for me to utter any word.... 


 So glad somebody was there to offer me water.... 


 "You're in the hospital dear" The nurse said 


 Then it all came back Mia screaming and shouting uncle supporting me and getting hit on the head by aunty.... 


 "Your uncle is in a very bad condition he was hit pretty bad " She said... 


I could already feel the tears trying to come out.... How could aunty something like this... She really needs to pay for this, but there was nothing I could do about it.. 


 I was brought out of my thoughts when aunty walked in..... 


 Her eyes where red and puffy meaning she has been crying for a while. 


Why is she even crying she is the cause of all this.... 


 " You're the cause of all this.... I am sick and tired of you... I want you out of my house before I come back or else you will regret staying there for a second "she said with pure hatered.... 


" But auntie I have no where to go to please... I'll change, please just don't send me away"I said.... 


"You really are stupid.. See what you did to my husband and you still want me to keep you in my house you're a lunatic,.... I want you out of my house before I get back understood...??? 


There is nothing I could say that will change her mind 


Then she just walked leaving me alone with my thoughts... 


 I could not sleep I cried through out the night.. I have no one to turn to now.... 


I was discharged the next day and I went home to get my things I wanted to see uncle Blake but I know aunty will never let me get close to him again..... 


I brought out an old suit case from under my bed and packed the little property I could call my own and some money I saved up .... Take a last glance at the hell hole I call home.... Nd walked out..... 


"Sir there is a file that was sent for u a minute ago " Leo said 


I looked at the file and smiled.... What have been waiting for ... Now let's see what's in this.... 


I opened the envelope and a picture fell out.. And it was a picture of the girl that got my attention jimiya!!! 


 She is 23 years old.... Parents died when she was 10 .... She graduated in a good school... Hasn't worked in any company... Lives with her aunty ...... ... 


 The rest information was not that interesting to look at..... 


 Packed up the file and put in in my desk drawer.... 


I stood up from my seat and was walking towards my office door cause it was time for that goddamn meeting.. When my phone rang........ 


 "I got some new information about jimiya" 


"Ok... She has been maltreated by her aunty and her children except for the husband...... 


 She got into an accident recently and her uncle too.... ... 


 She was sent packing from the house and am sure she doesn't have any relatives she can turn to " 


By the time chase was done with the information...... My hands where already made into a fist..... 


How can someone like her be maltreated by her own relative.... 


 "They will pay for hurting my baby... But right now I need to help her... "I said while walking out
