Dealing with Bullies II

Before Mona left the room Fen called out to her

"Mona"

Mona turned and faced him "Hmm"

"Just like the adults at the orphanage should have protected me from my bullies someone should have protected you from yours"

Those softly spoken words made Mona tear up her throat closed and she was unable to speak for a moment. For that moment she was overwhelmed by just how very true his words word, someone should have protected her but no one did. Instead, she was even bullied at home.

sweetness? Aden's voice sounded in her head Do you have need of me?

With the sound of her mate's voice Mona was able to return to her senses she took a deep breathe No Chocolate I was just really sad for a moment

I felt that thinking about the past

Yeah, Mona smiled because he knew her so well I was talking to Fen and he told me about how he was bullied as a child. I was mad because none of the adults protected him and he just reminded me that adults should have protected me as well.
