The Battered Crown 

"I'm Atharv. My parents work as blacksmiths in the village. I can also make small weapons. They aren't perfect but rather okay looking." 


Viaan listened to his chatter without interrupting. This kid was from a happy life with a very happy family. He hadn't experienced any hardships so far. The robbing incident was the only time he was stumped. But that wasn't the only thing life can offer. Viaan knew if Atharv followed him, his life would be in danger numerous times. So he had to tell him again so he could reconsider before jumping on his thief ship. 


"If you follow us, your life will be in danger. There will be more than robbing incidents. You have to decide now. You cannot betray us or leave halfway. Consider carefully. " 


Atharv seemed to really consider for a moment before nodding like a hen.
