Por's POV

A few months ago, as Xander said, he would not bother me anymore. I know, I hurt him a lot. But this is the best way for me to escape from him. As time goes by he would forget about me.

I was preparing to go to work and sitting onto the bed while combing my hair when I turned my gaze out of the window.

Suddenly, I ran towards it while scratching my eyes for me to look further and convince myself. If I saw Xander but nothing's there.

"It looks like I'm just hallucinating," and that's reliefs me.

Since I quitted from Z Empire, Blake offered me to be his partner in his business. He was convincing me for a long time and gave me a reasonable offer, so I agreed.

These past few months, Ezekiel has not stopped pursuing our relation. He's always in the shop and when If I told him to don't stay for too long, he would precede me as if he could read my mind.

I entered the shop, and I immediately saw Ezekiel in his favourite place near the large window with a cup of coffee and reading his favourite book.

When I was close to where he was sitting, he calls my name. That makes me shocked and heard him chuckle.

I turned to him, and he brought me a bouquet of roses then says "Good morning beautiful" then kissed my hand and gave me a flirtatious smile.

That's his daily routine every morning, I remove my hand and gets the flowers then I turned my back to him. While walking to the counter, I smelled the flowers and smiled brightly.

I like Ezekiel, but I am afraid of the word relationship. Because I'm an NBSB, It means no boyfriend since birth. I was scared, if we're ended up together, he might be gone, and I don't want that to happen; I want him to stay with me.

"Por?!" I felt Blake shakes me then I noticed he was still holding me on both shoulders.

"Oh?" I answered shockingly then he takes off his hands from me.

"I've been talking to you, and you're not listening! I've been here at the counter for a long time!" Blake said in anger.

Lately, Blake is hot-headed maybe, because of work he is very stressed. But the bad thing is that he always puts his temper on me, sometimes that makes me pissed off, but I understand his situation.

"Blake, I'm Sorry ~" I apologized to him so that the argument won't take too long.

"Por! If you continue being incompetent at work. Even if you are my best friend, I will not tolerate that attitude!" he rants and is almost choking on his rage.

Ezekiel is about to approached Blake, but I stopped him. So I assigned someone to be placed as a cashier, and I went to my office so that Blake would calm down.

I wheeze while sitting in my office chair and held my head as I glanced at the flowers.

Meanwhile, I decided to go outside and saw Zac talking with Blake. He noticed me right away, so he smiled at me as a greeting and I did the same.

Blake approached me and said that Zac would like to talk to me, so I went to his table. We just exchanged smiles as I sat opposite him.

"Please be patient with my cousin. You know that he's been stress lately" he said in worry.

"Don't worry, I understand?" I said to him.

"I'm telling Blake to take a rest once in a while. He needs more rest than this" he concerned.

"Zac, If he's shy to say sorry. Just tell him, he's forgiven and I can't put resentment to him, I also need to help them manage the shop, excuse me" then I got up from my seat.

And I was about to walk when Ezekiel called me, so I turned a glance to him then walks towards me.

"I have to go; there is an emergency," he said goodbye to me.

"Be careful?" I said then he hugs me.

As he hugged me, he whispered :

"You always have to be careful, call me when something bad happens" then he removed his hug and kiss me on my forehead.

And he leaves the shop in a hurry. Because of what Ezekiel told me, I suddenly felt scared and nervous for myself.

Why does something seem to happen he's tone is not good. I just shrugged as I watched him to getaway. So I start to turn around to get back to the counter and noticed Blake.

I saw his eyebrows crossed and furrowed his forehead while clenching his jaw. You can see into his eyes that he's smoking with anger. His eyes grab my attention coz' it's glowing in golden yellow colour, I closed my eyes and took a gaze at him, but suddenly his yellow eyes disappeared.

Maybe I'm just hallucinating again, so I went straight to the counter.

"Please tell your lover, don't visit often. His face was annoying me" Blake asking me a favour.

"Okay, I will tell him" I answered him calmly.

"And then Por, let's have dinner tonight. If it is okay with you?" he invited me, this time he seems relaxed.

"Sure" I accept his invitation and smile at him brightly.

I often refuse him, but now I can't refuse because he seems so stressful and I know my best friend needs a companion to be with so that he can unwind even in a short period.

While I was inventorying our ingredients, suddenly I felt dizzy, causing me to hold over my head until I lose my balance and fell onto the floor.

As I lay on the floor, my vision gradually faded, and the sound of those around me weakened, I felt Blake shake me while I was in his arms. I can also see on his face that he is anxious and calling out my name but no words coming out from his mouth then suddenly his figured went blurry, and my vision went black.
