Chapter 8: Remember the Past, Forget Your Future Part 2

I soon felt a tapping, almost gripping on my shoulder, as I was once again forced awake. This time however, I saw Poppy, next to me, awake and tapping on my shoulder. As I looked into her tired eyes, the cheerfulness in them was still gone, as the situation was forced back into me once more.

I don’t know how I got back into bed. Whether the whole thing was a dream, or if Poppy got me back into bed, I have no idea. I simply accepted it, and got up, not bothering to stretch or wake myself up.

Poppy and I both left my cell, and noticed that people were leaving the cell block alone, at their own pace. Poppy and I took it as a queue to not try and wait for anyone, as we walked down the stairs and through the hallway towards the cafeteria.
