Theodore Ferell

It's Monday morning. A hit of sunlight came accross my window and flash inside my bedroom, what a beautiful weather to start my day.

I'm always waking up at exactly 6 in the morning everytime I have a school day.

But I'm a lazy ass baby to get up because I want some more sleep.

Anyways, hi I am Theodore. 19 years old. 2nd year college student and taking up a course in business management. I'm the only son of Isabel Hererra and Taldon Hererra my parents. Do I need to say all of my information like I was filling up a bio data? Just kidding!

I'm still dozing off inside my blanket, feeling the comfortable heat it makes when suddenly, I heard a not so loud bang on my bedroom door.

"Argh!" I groaned. I really hate it when someone is trying to enterrupt my sleeping session. I stand up and lazily walking towards the door and open it.

A wide, blooming sunshine smile written on Landon's face greeted me.

"Hi baby. Goodmorning!" He said while smiling sweetly.

How can I stop myself from falling inlove with this guy if every morning I mean every single time he needs to wake me up and greeted me with those heart warming smiles?

Anyways, that is Landon Galero. My bestfriend/first love since I was junior high school. The reason why he is knocking on my door this early? He was living with me. Yes! Living with me and my parents. The reason? I will told you later!

"Hey hi Landon! You woke up so early? Any reasons?" I'm just looking at him with a blank face. I'm not in the mood this morning.

"Um. Yeah. Mommy Isabel woke me up. Because, she's going to work early and she said that I need to call you and prepared a breakfast for you." He said while still smiling at me.

"Oh that's great! Thanks anyway. Just wait me downstair. I'll go take a bath and prepared. I'll be there in a minute." I smiled.

He started walking out the door and shut it behind him. I sighed as I remembered the moment my parents ask me about Landon and I's relationship when it turns out to be my coming out process for my parents. Amazng right?! I didn't expect that too to come so early!

Landon is my bestfriend ever since we are junior high school. As I told you guys earlier. He is so quiet and other kiddos making fun of him. That's why I make friends with him. I was just like his savior to those bullies. Having him beside me makes my childhood life so amazing. Doing some adventures like, hiking, fishing and so on. But suddenly I fell inlove with him. I started falling in love with everytime he makes time for me. And I just can't help it!

My parents let him live here and stay with us. His parents are living a miles away. So my Mom and Dad decide to adopt him. It's a big help for him because he doesn't need to travel miles away just to attend at school. Imagine having a 4 hours travel just to get on time in our University? His parents doesn't have a big amount of money to provide a apartment or dorm for him. So my parents decided to adopt him.

Landon and I have a super special relationship. Yes, we could say that we're bestfriends but we do cuddles, kissing, and even sleeping in the same bed. He is totally aware of my feelings towards him. But he always stating the fact that I am just his BESTFRIEND. And it hurts!

I took a quick shower and dress up. After fixing my blond hair I go down stairs straight to the kitchen where Landon is already preparing the food he cooked.

"Hey the food is ready. You are just in time." He said while putting the foods on my plate.

"Thanks Landon." I smiled a little. Why is it feel so awkward?

"Are you okay baby?" He asked while wearing a worried look on his face.

I nod. "Yeah. I was just still sleepy that's all." I lied and look away. I started eating my food that is getting cold because of the coldness I'm giving Landon right now. Geez.

"Theo. Look. I'm.... I'm sorry." I already cut him because I know this conversation will lead us to a misunderstanding. I don't want to fought with him this early.

"It's okay Landon. I already know. I accept it already. You don't have to open up the topic over and over again." I said with a force smile.

He let a small sighed and dig up his food and he didn't have intention to talk again. I was always thinking about that moment.

Flashback

It is a Sunday morning when my parents called me and Landon at the dining area. I was shocked that my cousin Eliot and his long time boyfriend Garreth was here too.

"Hey cousin! It's been a while!" Eliot said. I smiled and walks towards him and hugged him.

"Hi. Why are you here? I thought you were busy? And hi Garreth!" I waved at his boyfriend and also hugged him.

"Babe is not busy anymore. He also misses you that's why we came here and visited you and Auntie and Uncle." Garreth answered.

"Ooooh that's cool! So we can get along again at school eh?" I say with a grinning smile. This smile means a lot. But there is only one thing that this mean.

"Yeah yeah just shut up Theo." Eliot stated with a wide grin written on his lips.

"Ahem." Dad cough a little to caught all our attention.

My eyes is sticking only to Dad that is ready to spill a tea.

"Landon and Theodore have a seat. We have a matter to talk. And I want you both to be honest with me." My Dad said and I was just shocked and trembling at the same time. What is this all about? Why suddenly I felt nervous about my Dads voice tone?

"Um Dad? What is it? Is it serious that much?" I said while I'm stuttering.

"Son. Theo. Can I ask you what is your relationship with Landon? I mean yes. Obviously, you guys are bestfriend but your Mom saw you both hugging while sleeping. Bestfriends and a same guy is hugging while sleeping? What is that even mean?" The whole dining room turned silent. Even Eliot and Garreth is just quiet and listening.

"Dad, I'm sorry. I .. I'm gay Dad. I'm so sorry. Please don't be mad. I fell inlove with Landon. I love him ever since we are in junior high. I can't help it. I tried so hard to stop myself but it doesn't working." My eyes starting to get watery.

Dad sighed and tap my shoulder. "It's alright kiddo. Your Mom and I knows your sexual identity eversince. Me and your Mom just waiting for you to told us. I'm sorry we need to do this way. We support you and your happiness. As long as you study hard and don't makes any trouble, we will be here supporting you."

I started to cry like a baby and hugged them both. I am so happy. I can't imagine this would turns out like this.

"Thank you Mommy and Daddy. I love you both so much." I said while crying from happiness.

Mom looked at Landon with a questionable look. Oh my god. I don't like the way he looks to him. It's like he's planning to ask him a unexpected question.

"Hm. How about you Landon? Do you have feeling for our Theo?" My Mom ask Landon and all our heads turn to him.

He look suprise and he took a minute to answer my Mom's question.

"Um, Mommy Isabel. I'm sorry. I only see him as my bestfriend and brother. I'm not gay. I was just hugging him because it is so comfortabel. I'm really sorry if I gave you an intention to think that way." Landon said.

My world seems to crashed. My heart breaks when I heard those word coming from his mouth. Does he really need to slap it on my face?

The whole dining area seems so awkward. Eliot and Garreth didn't even bother to talk. I just walked out of the place because I might get suffocated.

End of Flashback

Starting that day and that talk happened, I became cold to Landon. Yes I know I can't blame him. He's not a gay. I was taken back at my flashbacks when I hear him shouted that we need to leave and go to school.

At University 7:30 in the morning.

I parked the car my Mom and Dad bought me so we could go to school on time and less hassle taking a bus or taxi. We greeted by our friends Liam and Dwight at the entrance gate of our school.

"Yaaa! You both are late!" Liam said while pointing at us. Landon and I giggled and Dwight just rolled his eyes.

"What a overreacting freak here you are Liam!! It's just 7:30 in the morning! The bell rangs at 8!" With a WTF look on his face. Landon and I laugh hard at Liam looks.

"You meannie!! By the way. I just want to invite to a party later. You guys coming over?" Liam told us while grinning and looking at me. Like huh? Why me?

"Oh no! No! Where?" I can feel this is going to be a bad idea if I joined them.

"At the bar!! There's a new open bar at main street of the village near the school. We just go there about 7 in the evening eh? Garreth and Eliot will joining us too! So Theo Baby you don't have to worry. Your cousin will joining us and you have a consent already." He continued. I looked at Landon who's also waiting for my answer.

"Hay. Yeah yeah okay. I'll joined you guys. But! I don't drink too much okay?" I said and smiled.

Liam and Dwight smiled and nod at us and said goodbye before the bell rang.

Landon and I go to in separate ways walking to our room and wait for the class to end.
